Tops for the buck.......2007-01-15
If you're looking for an good-sounding, econonomical earphone that's portable, volumes have been written about the Koss KSC-75. These clip on to your ears, and are mostly quite comfortable. The real goods are in the sound, however. Don't expect audiophile sound from these phones; it would be a miracle if a device this small were capable of the high fidelity of a full-sized offering, and it's unreasonable at the price. But they offer an appealing and fairly well balanced presentation that suits all but the most discordant music very well.
The secret to the KSC-75 lies in the way the phones rest against your ears, providing an appealing bass topped by some treble detail. Picky listeners might complain about a shallowness in some of the highs, or an inability to render tracks with less refined productions. But these are all about value. What's more, a number of users have been able to mod these to produce a sound even closer to their liking. It's a good investment for anyone who doesn't like in-ear phones, and doesn't want to lay down a mortgage just to hear their tunes.
Since these rest on the ears, there's a small amount of sound leakage - a consideration if you're someplace public like a bus or a coffee shop. (That's where in-ear monitors show their strength.)
Outstanding sound, lightweight and versatile phones........2007-01-05
My husband and I love these earphones, and at the price, we've gotten quite a few. I use nothing else with my laptop. They are very comfortable, very lightweight, and surprisingly resistant to falling off the ear. I have even jogged with them, no problems. They are not the most glamourous looking phones out there, but you cannot beat the sound quality and comfort and price. I've invested in much more expensive phones -- these are equal in sound quality and superior in comfort.

Awesome TV.......2007-07-20
This is an awesome TV. Bright, has all the right hookups, and manages regular TV just as well as HD. Love it!
Love it.......2007-05-30
The picture is great. The only down side is when you watch normal broadcasting, it is such a difference, it almost makes regular broadcast unbearable. There are also times when my cable company's signal struggles with the amount of data in a high motion HD broadcast. For instance, the Planet Earth series was INCREDIBLE and visually stunning, but on a scene that showed a large flock of birds in motion, the picture digitized. At first I thought it was a TV issue, but noticed that even when I paused it on the DVR, the picture was still digitized. So it would appear that the TV could handle the motion fine, but that the cable companies compression software could not.
I'm in Love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2007-04-24
I just got this TV today,(from my friendly neighborhood big box retailer.) and I have fallen madly in love with it. The picture quality is far and above any HDTV i've owned in the past. (This is my fourth one.) Coupled with the Sony blu-ray player I have hooked up to it pumping out a Full 1080p picture, it's incredible!!!! Anyone who tells you that you can't tell the difference between a 1080i and a 1080p picture is lying through their teeth. I've looked at 3 blu-rays on it today (Casino Royale, Rocky Balboa and Superman Returns) and they look outstanding! Even Superman Returns, which is one of the worse looking blu-rays on the market, looks better on this tv!!! (Come on you guys who own that movie on blu-ray knows the picture quality sucks...hell it sucked on DVD and HD DVD. The movie was just poorly shot.) Do yourself a favor, if your in the market for a large 1080p HDTV this is the one. You might can find a real good deal on one since this one has been discontinued for the 2007 model and can be found on clearance!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome all around!.......2007-04-10
This is my first HDTV. Bought it through Amazon, not the 'alternate' sellers listed. As always, Amazon processed the order very quickly, and it was delivered within a week by Eagle USA, who did an excellent job, also they unpacked it and helped me put it where I wanted it.
TV works great, picture is very nice, even non-HD channels. No problems with TV at all. And, it's 'Assembled in USA' which is quite rare when talking about TVs.
If you're on the fence about getting an HDTV, get this one.
SXRD buyer beware!.......2007-04-10
These sets are great IF you get one that works right, and stays that way. The problem is they often have discolored areas where the tint varies across the screen. Mine had a green center haze, and pinkish outer haze from day one. As it aged it also developed a purplish blue glow in blacks. I called for service. The service company said it needed a new optical block, and agreed it looks bad. They showed up to fix it with part in hand a full 6 weeks after I first called for repair. The guy fumbled around for 2.5 hours. He had never taken this model apart before and had no service manual! I had to look on the internet for instructions on taking it apart. After all this, we turned it on and it's three times worse than before. The repair guy said it looks really bad. Now black is totally glowing royal blue, and the green and pink haze on light colors is even worse. I called Sony again and they told me to call the service company. The service company told me it's not really defective, it just has 'picture quality issues'! They said they probably have to order another optical block, and go through all this again. Then if that fails, Sony might finally give me a new tv. This is a real joke! I would avoid these sets until when, and if Sony perfects them better.

Buffalo Customer Service Policy Stinks.......2007-12-15
I cannot say that this is a good router, because I have not yet gotten it to work, nor have I received it back from Buffalo after I RMA'd it.
Here's what happened. I ordered this router from Amazon on November 27 with overnight shipping because I really, really needed a replacement wireless router. The unit arrived the next day and I spent many hours trying to get it work. It worked intermittently. On December 1, I called the support line and spent an hour working with the support rep. He concluded that there was clearly something wrong with the unit because after I turned it on the red "Diag" light remained on. I sent the package back to Buffalo and paid extra to have it delivered next day. The unit arrived at Buffalo on December 4. For several days I checked the web site to see the status of the unit and return, but nothing showed up. I called tech support a full week after it arrived there and they told me that the unit was still in the RMA process! Further, they told me that it could take another 3-4 business days before I got a status. They also told me that if a replacement unit were to be sent they would send it ground from Texas. I live in Boston, so I assume it would take 3-5 business days. If they really send the replacement, I will receive it 4 weeks after I bought the unit.
I will have to update this review to tell you if the replacement arrives and works, but for now, my advice is not to buy this router. If yours doesn't work properly, you may end up like me.
Ok, but would not buy again.......2007-09-27
I've owned this router for many months. I have a few disappointments that cause me to NOT recommend this to anyone else.
1) Buffalo has NOT released a firmware fix for the DST problem in the router. It was programmed with the 2006 DST dates and thus the internal logs are off an hour during the new 2007 DTS periods. E-mail to tech support was useless.
2) Lots of configuration options, but NO WHERE is 802.11n configuration information mentioned in the GUI setup. You can customize A/G settings, but it doesn't tell you anything about N configuration.
3) No firmware updates since its release (9 months ago) for the newer 1.10 or 2.0 draft N standards.
4) Tech support is terribly slow to respond via e-mail and unhelpful. Telephone wait times are off the scale!
5) My new "N" enabled laptop does not seem to be making "N" based connection to the router. Queried Buffalo about this issue and received NO response (after a week).
6) The router's IPv6 DHCP server crashes the Windows Vista DHCP client service when you resume from hibernation. May not be a fault of the router, but it makes Vista unhappy and logs an error report to MS every time.
Overall, I like the "geeky" settings you can tweak in the router. However, the problems I've had with it and the TERRIBLE tech support, and non-existent firmware upgrades will lead me to sell this unit when the new D-Link dual band router is released.
Works as expected and more!.......2007-08-14
I love the product.
Out of the box, it discovered my network, provided security credentials, and connected every system (3 wired, 5 wireless, and a network printer) to my home network. It has provided better range, and I have experienced virtually no lag in connecting from desktop to laptops and Wi-Fi Windows Mobile smartphones.
For the SOHO/small business user, the confidence in knowing that this product has earned a Certified for Windows Vista logo, should provide added peace of mind.
On the back end, this product utilizes Windows Rally Technologies, which allows it to seamlessly discover and connect securely to Windows Vista clients.
In fact, the entire setup process is as easy as:
A) connect the device to your PC with an Ethernet cable,
B), power on the device
C) open the Network folder on your Vista PC and
D) double click the discovered router (it will show up as an un-configured wireless device).
That's it.
You should then be guided through the Windows Connect Now wizard which will create a wireless profile for your device, store it on your PC and push it to the Buffalo router. The Network folder will automatically discover the device for you (without you ever knowing the IP address or opening IE). Further, you never have to know your security settings. The Windows Connect Now wizard will create a passphrase for you. All you'll need to supply is the name of your network.

No Sweat - Right Out of the Box.......2007-08-12
I'm no geek but I know quality when I see it and use it. Buffalo's Wireless-N duel band gigabit router and wireless access point is without question the best router I've ever used or seen for home use. Straight out of the box, I had a wired gigbyte network up and running, transferring files and accessing the internet on every wired connection in 15 minutes. The wireless network took a little more time as I had never installed one before but I had my notebook with wireless G Internet and network connectivity up in probably 30 minutes.
And I was done with my weekend project!
Unlike other reviewers here, I have found the Buffalo Wireless N's connectivity range nothing short of outstanding! The house is approximately 2,300 square feet and I have coverage in every room, inclusive of the garage. Moreover, from the hammock in the back yard to the sidewalk in front of the next door neighbor's house this router delivered outstanding wireless connectivity with my wireless G notebook. (Can't say anything about the range of wireless N here, but wireless G with this router has exceeded my expectations). Just remember a little up front planning goes a long way. I placed the router on some new shelves so the router and wireless antenna is approximately 6 feet off the ground in my office.
But speed and connectivity is just the beginning. This is one well engineered product. The embedded on-line set-up documentation that accompanies this product is second to none. Absolutely head and shoulders above my Linksys product. I also appreciate the well documented lights on the front panel of this router! You can actually check status and see what is going on with this router - This is a far cry from the Christmas tree ornamentation effect that came with my Linksys router -You know.. Looks fancy but tells you absolutely nothing unless you can dig out the manual - Good Luck! (I'm sure that somewhere the geeks at Cisco are laughing)
On the down side, with only four wired gigabyte Ethernet ports I think this router is expensive for a home unit. Sure, you have the wireless N access point combined into the router but it really would have added value to have a couple of additional Ethernet ports considering the price.
The way I see it, the quality is good, the documentation is great and the performance of this rig commands two thumbs way up! You're getting what you're paying for here and don't you wish everything in life was that easy?
So if you're not Geek-Squad oriented or Cisco certified and are looking for a quality router that delivers the goods without breaking a sweat this is your router!
Stick with Linksys G.......2007-08-01
Planned on buying a linksys wireless G router and separate access point to fix wireless gaps in the house .. was convinced to buy an N .. a buffalo N despite reading the write-ups on their problems .. geek told me N is the only way to go .. My wireless range decreased and my DSL throughput was 3-5 times less than with my current B router !! needless to say, I'm going back to my original G plan ... and will stick to Linksys
