Cool idea but not the most functional.......2007-03-13
My friend has this case and likes it, but I was not happy with mine. It was great quality and cool looking, but it was so hard to get in and out of your pocket, and EVERYTHING (i.e. lint, dirt, dust) sticks to it. I prefer my new case that is a thin hard clear plastic - more protection, easier to maneuver. If you're looking for a silicone sleeve-type case, this is a good one, but it's just not for me.

I looked for a long time to find a Nano cover with a belt clip; I didn't want an arm band. I am very happy with this purchase. The belt clip rotates so you can have the Nano sit upright, upside down, or on its side. The skin protects the Nano and the flaps easily move out of the way when ports are used, and slide back nicely to cover when ports aren't needed. I like the hard plastic that protects the screen. The softer plastic on the wheel is easily dented with my nail when I turn the ipod on and off, but that's minor. My BIG gripe is that it's difficult to use headphones other than the ipod earbud straight jack with this case. I have SHURE earphones and the L shaped jack doesn't quite fit with this case. It works, but I'd like the fit to be more secure. A year ago I paid more than double the price listed currently, and it was worth it then. It's kept my ipod safe, secure, protected, and the belt clip lets me easily take it on workouts without fear of it falling off. I would buy it again.
The Best.......2006-02-27
I've been reading a lot of reviews online for nano skins, and this is the best. This skin has a great protection with its double layers. Even the scroll is covered. The screen is covered with a hard plastic. There are caps for the usb and the headphone jack. My only complaints is that it is hard to switch on the hold switch on top and that the usb slot isn't big enough, even though it can be connected.
Good Case, Great Customer Service.......2006-02-18
I don't write reviews often but I had to comment on the excellent experience I had with Iskin. The case is pretty good. Definately the most nuanced and thought out of the cases out there. Perhaps I don't need all of the bells and whistles here, but its nice to know I have them. The colors aren't the best choices for a black nano. I got the light blue because it seemed to be the one I would least get tired of.
The reason for my comment is the quick and professional customer service Iskin provided. I did not find a screen cover bundled with my cover. Within a couple hours of my email Iskin wrote me back to confirm my purchase and send along a replacement. This is unexpected quick service from a online service team and I would definately purchase another product from this company. I hope others have a similar experience.
Great case........2006-01-21
This is a really good case. Keeps the Nano from getting scratched.. the screen protector that is included is REALLY nice.. I can't imagine how scratched my screen would be otherwise. I also like the fact that the layers protect the unit from sharp impact should it fall, and the "grips" and extra thickness actually help to hold the Nano, which is otherwise so tiny, it's almost awkward to hold.. even for my small hand.
The belt clip on the back is convenient, but it's also a plus that it comes off if you don't need it.
Comes in some really awesome color combinations.
I got mine from Target.com, used a coupon code, for a total of $30, including ship/tax. I wish it wasn't QUITE so expensive ($30 msrp), but it was the best one that I looked at, so I'm glad I got it.

Okay, it works........2007-09-08
This was a first time wireless router and adapter purchase and installation. After getting everything hooked up and installed I was able to operate my laptop and desktop off the router for a home network. My laptop uses its own built-in wireless system to connect to the router. My desktop uses the adapter (DWL-122G) on a USB connection to communicate with the router. I was disappointed that the range of the adapter was so limited. I thought that I would be able to use the desktop in another room. But as it turned out I have difficulties when I am less than 20 feet from the router with no obstructions. The signal is really weak. I have tried everything I know to boost the reception to the adapter (DWL-122G) but without success. The laptop is completely mobile with the usual loss of signal with more obstructions like walls. I can get reasonable use to about 30 feet with a wall or two between the laptop and the router, which is satisfactory for my home use. The adapter performance is the most disappointing part of the product.
pleased with wireless router.......2007-07-26
I started from scratch trying to set up a wireless signal in my home. After some research, I ordered this D-link product, got it delivered quickly and installed it. I did have some technical problems getting it to work. First I tried to use the e-mail to get it shaken down, but they weren't very helpful. I went back to the information, got a number, called and got a live person without too much hassel. He was very good and got me through the connection issue and I haven't had a bit of trouble. The price was right and it works fine.
Good Router, Bad Adapter.......2007-05-14
Well, I had always trust D-Link, but now, not that much. You see, the Router has with me well over a year. The Adapter Kit broke down withing the month, and then I bought another that also broke down, though, this one lasted almost six months, then, I decided to buy another brand, that hasn't given me a single problem since I bought it, longer ago than what the two other lasted.
The router on the other hand, it has been great. I haven't had any problem with it. It has fallen, it was in a corner with a bunch of things around, including plants and whatnot (what a friend had to avoid or else he wouldn't have signal with his netgear). I had strong signal literally anywhere in my appartment (including the bathroom, tested!!). Now, I moved to a house more than twice as big as my old apartment, and I still have a good signal everywhere but the kitchen (where sometimes I have and sometimes I don't). Though, the adapter is a piece of crap that will break down fast, but the routher is well worth the price.
Ahhh!!! Something that is really great about D-Link: They have a great tech-support line. Unlike other companies, they don't charge you for it, and they will stay with you as long as it takes to resolve your problem!!

Item works as it should, but after using it for about 2 months I realized it would have been more effective to just buy a wired router and put a cable for each computer hooked up to it. It seemed like even with full signal the internet was going as slow as dial up. I still use the router but I ran a cable to my computers now.
