Perfect for iPod Buds, but not anything else.......2006-12-30
This item works exactly as described, and is a god-send for those of us who hate spending countless hours un-tangling all the wires after pulling your ear buds out of your pocket, purse, etc. The hard case also provides excellent protection for those ridiculously expensive ear phones. I do wish that the hinge on the case cover was a little sturdier, as it seems a little flimsy. My only other gripe is I wish that the storage case was a little bit larger to accomadate slightly bigger ear buds. If you plan on storing anything other than the ear buds supplied with your iPod, then this item is not for you. But if you do plan on using your iPod Ear Buds, this item is a must have. It even has a place to clip the in-line remote to the case, which is great because you can also use this item as a cord shortener, and with the remote clipped to the outside it remains functional. To top it off it also has a belt clip, which can be removed if you choose to store the case in your pocket or purse. Not a bad little gadget, but there really aren't many more options to choose from on the market.

Should be more sturdy.......2006-11-21
The Audio Outfitters Earpod does what it claims to do, and does it well; however, the Earpod's lid came apart from the Earpod within six months (I uploaded a picture to show what I'm talking about.) The Earpod is not broken -- it is easily put back together but comes apart even more easily, so it is no longer suitable for jogging. I still use it to protect my AUDIO OUTFITTERS SX50 ezEars Earphones for the Apple iPod when I travel (and in this capacity it works well) but not when I'm wearing them.

Item does just what it says it will. It's not fancy but very useful.

Easy enough to use, and does what it advertises: stores your iPod earbuds, preventing them from tangling.
My gripe is that the unit is a different shade of white - cream verses (Apple) pure white.
Personally I prefer the ease of use of the winding storage - such as Sony make - but my desire for a case in matching iPod white overruled that requirement.
