After recieving a pair of Studio-Kans as a gift, I immediatly started using them for everything, gaming, listening to music, and canceling out sound from my Drumset. They perform incredibly in sound reduction, making even the most obnoxious of sounds either inaudable or just about as close as you can get to it.
The sound quality is also great, you start to hear little details from music or games that you have never heard before start to pop out. Great trebble clarity, and a thumping bass range. Noticeable stereo effects, too.
Overall, these headphones are great for noisy environments, enabling you to hear any form of audio media without damaging your hearing.

My daughter asked for this for Christmas and the picture online made it appear to be a solid, streamlined, easy to use system. It was a big disappointment. It never did fit properly and easily on the Ipod, it was hard to attach to the band. In short, we never did really figure it out or get it to work, and in the end just pitched it and stuck with a silicone case. I'd give it a zero if I could
