I totally agree that the sound of these small headphones is excellent, but there is such little padding that my ears really hurt if I wear them for longer than 1/2 hour. Forget watching a movie.

This product works well. I can finally sleep at night while my husband watches TV. There is a slight hum in the reception, but not enough to interupt hearing the dialogue or be annoying. The TV is about 13 away and reception is still good as long as you don't move around too much or turn away. Definitely worth the price!

As long as you feed this unit a "healthy" input level, you should be pretty happy with it. I'm very impressed with the optical range. I was afraid that I would have to sit at a particular angle, or that whenever someone moved in front of me, I might lose the signal. But that's not the case. I like it much more than my old FM headphones (for which I did have to hold my head just right). Nice stereo audio. Just a little bit of hiss... I didn't notice it at first, because it's so much quieter than the FM phones. Now, however, I notice it, but certainly tolerable. A very good unit for the price.

I do have to let you know that I do not walk around with them on. The sole purpose for me to get them was so I could listen to the tv in bed while my husband sleeps. (He goes to bed early for work sometimes.) So no longer do I have to leave the room, with this I can stay in the bed with him and still watch tv!
ALSO these headphones even work with our dvd player in the car! One of the headphones that came with the dvd player broke when stepped on, so right before a trip I decided to try these and sure enough it worked! So we don't have to spend a bunch of money to replace the broken one. In fact when we do decide to, I will just buy another one of these since it is cheaper than the manufacturer's replacement.
