The HR-6 is a compact six- channel, five-pot remote mixer that clamps to any mic stand. When used with the HDS-6, the HR-6 allows musicians to customize their own headphone or monitor mix, and the engineer doesn't have to touch the board. The HR-6 provides four mono pots and one stereo pot. The four mono pots allow each user to create a custom mix of four console channels or busses. The stereo pot will most often be used for a main control room mix, or for a stereo effects return. The HR-6 also provides a "Submixes Included/Excluded" button, which mutes the four mono pots, allowing only the stereo source to be heard, without having to alter the HR-6's four monaural settings. Speakers don't work and company doesn't respond to emails or messages.......2006-12-21
I bought these speakers over the ones from COBY because I thought the quality would be higher. I took them home and hooked up to my MP3 player using the short jack provided. I turn on the unit and turned up volume. I pushed play on my MP3 player and there was practically no sound. I increased volume to max and could barely hear sound unless I put up to my ear. I expected to use them in a room.
I called the company based on their web site info and message said they would return my call. I also sent email through their support link. After 5 days of no reply, I called the VP of Sales and left him a message with reason. Still no reply.
Their warranty says to return it at customer's own expense. So why would I pay the postage on something that never worked? I plan to take it back to the store for full refund. Be aware that if you have a problem, do not expect a reply from either their support folks or their management.

Right off the bat on installation the driver is not signed off by microsoft, thay say continue anyway---I did even though I did this with a creative product and it screwed up my computer had to do a complete format and recovery, they care not about the hrs, hrs, and hrs of your time to fix there garbage products. Back to the scanner, noticed a smell after install, it was coming from the scanner, took it for a new item being used for first time. On a test scan the scan was ok and quality so so but I could tweek it out if I had a chance. After a few scans the scanner would only scan 1/2 of the item. (Travel only 1/2 way down the glass).. The smell was the stick on tape they use to hold the glass up to the unit. the glass was coming loose and falling down, the light would hit the glass about 1/2 way through the scan and get stuck then return. I can fix things, and I probably could of got some good two sided tape and replace the factory tape, ya, would of worked but to think that they would use tape to hold the glass up, with no other back-up is a real joke. Shame on you Microtek and thank god for these user reviews. And don't forget about that not signed off driver that comes with the soft ware. Do your self a favor and check out that canon scanner with 64 reviews (Good one's) Cost's $10 more.

The main thing I wanted to do with this scanner was to scan and then email my pictures to friends and family. This scanner is USB and under $... many stores!!! It's quiet and the picture quality is great for it. I have no complaints yet on it, works like a charm. Setup instructions and software were included so with most any USB you just plug and play!

I used to have a USB GPS for my laptop then upgraded to this bad boy because I needed a new laptop mouse anyway and decided to cut clutter in my laptop bag. The mouse works awesome and the GPS is perfect - exactly what I need for my trips. I really like that the cord is retractable too - a feature my old mouse didn't have.
