Customer Reviews:
Tinney sound - otherwise comfotable, but not acceptable.......2006-08-18
The headphones have nice design features, excellent base pick up and excellent other stats. However it fails in actual sound quality - the sound is tinney and simply sounds cheap. While it registers base nicely, its treble is way off (on the loud end) which irritated me. I bought them to replace some headphones that are getting rattly - but I like my old ones lots better.
If you don't care about the tinney sound, it would be an excllent pair, good style, comfortable, and nice cord retract feature. However my advice is still to get a different pair unless you're deaf to frequencies above 15kH.
Good Fit And Price But Only Medicore Sound.......2006-03-01
After purchasing a Sony Walkman (DEJ001), I hated the headphones that came with the walkman. They were not comfortable and had poor sound quality (inferior bass). So after deciding between the h.ear and these, I went with Panasonic for the fuller frequency range and the gray color.
Clip-On Earbuds
Clip-on earbuds are very similar to the standard earbuds, with a hook that goes all the way around your ear. If you haven't tried clip-on earbuds or behind-the-neck headphones, you'll probably have to take some time getting them to fit correctly. If you are used to them, chances are you know how to fit them and it won't be a problem.
Sound Quality
Country - Pretty good sound, not a lot of bass was needed for the test, though. I got a lot of treble power and clarity, something I didn't expect. Overall most of it sounded good.
Dance/Techno - I put in a lot of stuff and I got so-so results. A lot of the beats had low bass and some of it was lost, but most of the vocals were good. Not the best for this genre.
Latin - I got good results as long as there weren't a whole lot of beats.
Metal/Rock - I put a lot of hard stuff in here and I was pretty suprised it handled all of it. The bass wasn't too exciting but most of the hard rock was above average.
Pop - Most of it sounded above average but a lot of bass was lost from the headphones (as usual).
Rap - I really tested this genre because rap needs a lot of range, thinking that it would "bring out" the headphones but my expectations were not met. The bass was a little stronger but not a whole lot.
R&B - It sounded pretty good but when the bass was playing it wasn't too big.
I made the final conclusion on the sound. It has amazing treble but very poor bass. For the price ($6) it was good but if you compare them to the h.ear or the other earbuds around the $10-$15 these just don't hold up. If your listening to classical, opera, vocal pop, or soft rock, these will do but for anything else with big bass these will not, and I mean NOT cut it.
Design
They are a little similar to the h.ear headphones but a little different. They stick out a lot more than the h.ear probably because the clip isn't connected to the earbud. Another thing is that the clip twists to fit your ear (this is something you'll probably have to see). The cord is gray and seems very durable.
Comfort
Overall the comfort is pretty good as long as your ears aren't too big or too small. They are pretty averagely sized and fit me pretty well. Another thing (like I said before), if you haven't tried similar earbuds with the clip (like the MDRJ10 or the KSC22), you'll probably have to take some time getting used to the fit and learning how to put them on. So if they don't fit right, don't immediately send them back to the store because within time they might feel a whole lot better.
Price
I paid $6 for these at Wal-Mart. Overall the price is set about right. They weren't the most expensive (duh) nor were they the cheapest; they were somewhere in the middle. You could get, with a little more money, the better sounding h.ear.
Overall
They fit and feel right and they are inexpensive. The sound is a little inferior but you have to consider the fact that they are only $6. If they were over the $10 I would say there sound is way too bad for this price but for $6 is pretty good. Overall, if your looking for very inexpensive that will do, these are okay. If your looking for good sound, pass on by.
Convenient but annoying.......2006-02-28
The overall size is convenient. The sound quality is ok for the price. The clips hold the buds on your ear, but I found it very difficult to position the clips so the buds stay in the ear. For some reason the clips do not want to stay flat against my head and annoyingly flip outward like little wings.
Great little things.......2005-08-25
I know that these are cheap. But they sound alot better then more expensive models...30-40 dollar range. I know, cause I used to have them. I bought this cheaper model, since it will see alot of abuse. But I was really surprised at the sound that came out of it. Bass is excellent and highs are too. Mids are ok. Now if you have a crappy mp3 player, you'll get grappy sound out of these. I use an ipaq with these headphones and sound great. The only thing I did, was adding foam inserts which I purchased from the doller store. Total cost is still under 10 dollars.
Very good.......2005-03-12
These are very good headphones. Excellent bass for the price range. These are better than the similarly priced Sony headphones, which have no bass whatsoever. I use these when I'm out for a walk. I use a pair of Sony cans at home.

Powers down and you have to wait for a will........2007-11-01
There is an audio sync issue when using a set up box with component cables. When I switched to use the RF in from the cable, it did not show the audio sync issue, but that means no HBO or digital cable for the most part. The second issue is: after 4 days and watching the TV for hours I turn it on for 3 minutes and the TV just turns itself off. I hit the power button and see the blue LED on the front glow for 1 sec then off. I hold the power button on the side down, and the blue power led blinks once a second and I hear a click, but no picture. I wait 5 minutes, comeback and it works fine. I figured it was a one time thing. I watch TV for 15 more minutes, and it just resets, and the picture comes on after 15 seconds or so. Luckily I bought it from Costco, which has a great return policy, I just want my money back, I don't want another one after reading these reviews. If you can get a working model and the A/V sync doesn't bother you I did like the user interface, and it was real easy to use and configure. It is really cheap for the size, most 22 inch monitors are 400$ these days.
another dissatisfied customer.......2007-09-25
I am having the same audio sync problems as mentioned in other reviews. I'm returning this tv in the next couple days. I've read reviews that say "great pitcure" but who cares? All the lcd tv's I've seen are more or less the same with all having a great picture. That doesn't matter if the audio is out of sync with the video. Its unacceptable. If I could give it zero stars I would.
not all is lost! the av sync and hd problems can be fixed (sort of).......2007-09-09
As many reviewers have noted, this TV has AV sync problems. Some reviewers have also noted that some hd channels contain video garbage, yellow lines and blinks, outside the broadcast frame. The latter can be fixed by switching the screen size from standard to fill; this crops some of the hd image (a little to much for my taste, but not too much more than a panasonic plasma automatically does). Also, only some hd channels don't fit in the standard frame; comcast hd movie channels look great in standard.
The AV sync and bungled screen-fit are problems that Westinghouse should have fixed. However (and please correct me if I am wrong), if you do have this TV or find one in the $300 or under range, it helps to know that the AV sync problems apply only to analog broadcast channels; digital channels and hd channels pulled in through basic cable sync up fine. So, by Feb 2009, with the shift to all digital broadcasting, the analog AV sync problem on this TV will be moot.
Some reviewers have noted that DVD players also have AV sync problems; this is true if you are using composite cables to hook up your player. However, I have found that with component cables the AV sync problem goes away, so try switching your cables if you have sync problems with your dvd player.
I have this TV hooked up to a 5.1 sound system w/ an optical cable (optical out on this TV is a nice perk); hd broadcasts in dolby digital look and sound great. The sound using optical out is much better (and better synced) than the internal speakers. So if you are stuck w/ this TV (like me) or find one for a bargain, you can work around the sync and video problems.
Don't Buy.......2007-09-05
I bought this TV for $375 as an open box item at Best Buy. I was only looking for a 20 inch television, but for the same price how could I pass up a 26 inch? First of all, I started experiencing the audio sync problem everyone else reports. Secondly, I have this unit hooked up to a Bose 3-2-1 system, and every time I power off the television and turn it back on I get no sound until I go back into the audio settings, turn on the internal speakers and then turn them off again. I am on my way back to the store to return the TV right now.
A piece of junk.......2007-07-23
OK HD picture but terrible for standard broadcast. The worst sound I've ever heard coming from any TV. Returned this TV and bought A Sharp which is terrific. The price may seem right but it isn't worth it. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for!

The Rack Air Distribution Unit is a 2U fan unit that works with an existing precision air conditioning system to deliver cool air to the equipment contained in a rack enclosure. The Rack Air Distribution Unit connects into the raised floor and pulls supply air directly into the enclosure. This prevents the conditioned air from mixing with warmer room air before reaching the equipment. The Rack Air Distribution Unit minimizes temperature differences between the top and bottom of the enclosure. It also prevents hot exhaust air from re-circulating to the inlet of the enclosure. The product is recommended for rack enclosures with loads greater than 1.5kW and can provide airflow for loads up to 3.5kW. It is also ideal for enclosures in raised floor environments where under floor air distribution is inadequate. This Air Distribution Unit is designed for Power Dense Enclosures and Low Pressure Areas.
