I purchased these earphones after reading a review in an issue of Runner's World a few months ago. I must say, after 2 hot-day runs, I am very satisfied. The fit is comfortable and snug. The sound is clear with good stereo separation. I sweat quite a bit and I haven't had any troubles with sweat getting in my ears or around the buds. Seriously, for this price you should try these if you're considering them. What's to lose?

Great Buy!.......2007-12-11

My husband and I are so pleased with this purchase. For the cost.. it has everything we were looking for and more. The 5-disc DVD player allows us to have both DVDs and Cds in the player ready for watching/listening. I love the fact that I can still listen to FM radio as well as upgrade to XM radio in the future.

My husband loves the fact that he can plug his iPod into the dock, charge it, and play music from it. That was a nice added feature.

The set-up took no time at all. Not complicated.
We are very happy with this puchase & would recommend it to anyone.

Good sound, not-so-good upconversion.......2007-10-09

First, what I like about this system, which I've had for about two weeks now: the audio quality, on TV, DVDs, and FM radio, is good for such a small, inexpensive system; and the iPod dock is a nice touch.

What doesn't impress me so far is the DVD upconversion. I've tried every possible output setting on several DVDs, and they all come out looking jagged and pixelated on my 61" Samsung DLP. I finally switched back to component cables, and they look better.

So this probably isn't the best choice if you'll be watching a lot of DVDs on a large HDTV. On the other hand, if you just want better sound from your TV shows, or have a smaller set and won't notice the upconversion problems, this is a good buy for the price.

Great Purchase.......2007-08-05

This is a great surround sound system and with the i pod doc its a must have system. I have an i pod and i was gonna buy a i pod doc until i saw this and i was gonna spend 200$ on the i pod doc. When i saw this i lucked out. This is a great product to buy and the sound is great the surround sound for movies is really good if your looking for a home theater system for a bed room or living room. Stop when you see this one and buy it.

Great value, everything you need plus some good features.......2007-07-19

The SC-PT650 system's strengths are its high-resolution DVD up-conversion, iPod Dock, and sound quality. My DVDs look great on my Panasonic TH-50PX75U HDTV, which doesn't even make full use of the DVD player's maximum 1080p up-conversion. The iPod Dock is a convenient add-on, and you can even do some iPod controls by remote (skipping and pausing). Lastly, sound quality was great, especially for a budget system (not that I have much experience with anything other than budget systems).
The only drawback is the lack of video inputs, but I don't think this should be a problem because any TV requiring a home theater system of this quality should also have plenty of video inputs, so you can just hook up a game system directly to the TV. Also, the iPod Dock works only with the 30 and 60 GB video iPods, and the aluminum iPod nano. Any others will require a small adapter.
By the way, the first reviewer seems to be talking about a different model (maybe the SC-PT750) since he's talking about a wireless module, which isn't included in this system. And even still, his recommendation for wireless modules in each speaker is a little ridiculous at this price level.

Not bad but..................2007-05-26

This is not a bad theater system if space is limited but why did Panasonic leave out seperate bass and treble controls (via remote or on unit)? The only settings I can find are pre-sets for movie, music or flat. The sound is terrible when watching local HD channels or FM. DVD's and cd's are better (yes better source) but was unhappy once I discovered the lack of features. The wireless rear speakers are nice but you still end up running the wiring from the rear speakers to the wireless module. Make the rear speakers larger and put a module in each one!

Viking: The generic RAM chipsets... BEWARE.......2002-11-21

I'm an advanced computer user. I've been repairing PC's for friends for several years now. I needed a RAM upgrade for my own PC so I took a look at Viking.

The prices are GREAT, but the old saying applies here: "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR". The chipset must have been a fraction of an inch overcut. One brackett locked & the other tried to lock but because the chipset was slightly overcut, it would not lock. Obviously these chipsets are NOT TESTED before they are ready for shipping. This in my opinion is a NECESSITY.

I took a VERY BIG risk starting my conputer with the second brackett not locked in the slot. NOTHING HAPPENED, WINDOWS DID NOT EVEN START. I got VERY LUCKY, because if a RAM chipset is incorrectly sitting in the slot it could really mess up your motherboard. I took the chipset out, and restarted. Everything was fine again with my SLOW 32MB RAM.

I guess I'll have to go out and pay the $... that almost EVERY retail computer store charges for a 128MB RAM upgrade for an IBM Aptiva.

Viking 128MB DIMM RAM for IBM Aptiva E-26 2137.......2002-11-16

The price is GREAT. I've been looking for one of these for two years, but wouldn't pay $ for the IBM part. No matter where I shopped, the price was $ minimum. This Viking 128MB RAM chipset DOES NOT fit correctly into the slot. I've been fixing home PC's as a hobby, so I know what I'm doing here. This would have been an oddball total RAM combination (if it caused a problem, all I'd have to do was replace the 32MB chipset with the 128MB one) besides IT WON'T FIT ANYWAY! It's the right part, but it seems as if it was very slightly miscut on the left end wedge where the bracket goes in to lock (by less than a millimeter).

I took the risk of starting my computer with it not locked on the one side. I figured since it was pushed in as far as it would possibly go, it may work. I hit the start button on the tower after everything was put back and the computer would not go on. It apparently could not get past the RAM during start-up.

I WAS VERY LUCKY THAT THIS DID NOT CAUSE ANY DAMAGE TO MY SYSTEM. I removed the chipset, and had to restart twice- but I'm safely back to my 32MB RAM. :(
