It works great.......2007-10-08

Bought this from Circuit City. It set up easily, and although I am no great judge of sound quality, it produces very good sound. It has an equalizer with presets, and a custom mode that you can configure to your own tastes. It seems to have more than ample power, plus the remote works well. So far, I have not encountered any problems. It has an AM/FM radio that does the job. I use the RS2664 mainly to play MP3 white noise for sleeping, which works well. I also created a few MP3 disks of about 125 songs each, and it plays flawlessly. However, with a USB port, the RS2664 can record directly from a CD to any USB MP3 player/recorder. From my perspective, the workmanship is just fine. All-in-all for under a hundred bucks, this is hard to beat.

Not a very good product. Sounds OK but even new CDs skip. Controls are minimal, confusing, and workmanship/materials low grade. Pass on this one.

I have this one for a couple month. I've bought it at BestBuy and now I am very happy. It sounds really good. It has deep bass that allow use this system as party power. It can loud if you want and now problems with noise - thanks to superior dynamics and wooden satellites.

It also can play MP3 from disc and from USB Flash drive or iPod.

CD-Changer also great: you can change disc without stopping listening another disc. It is great!

One cons: not handy remote. It is difficult to remember buttons because they use weird layout for them.

I compared this system with other Sony, JVC, LG and Philips at BestBuy and can say: It sounds equal with other systems that costs about $300-$400. I don't know that RCA put into it but it sounds really great! Buy one and you will happy as I am!
