Cheap & Fake.......2006-11-06
These earphones are cheap and fake. I've seen exact copies of these in my parent's hometown China which I visited back in 2005. They didn't even have IPODS! their mp3 devices didnt exceed over 512mb which is extremely depressing to see. Most of them dont really own computers and those that do can't really store music. Well...my point is there is no way these earphones are real even if they came from China because China does not have the technology and the people dont have the money to purchase them unless you were in Shanghai, Hong Kong or other rich cities scattered across China. These are indeed bootleg and I was tricked a couple of times in China in buying bootleg cds and earphones which I thought were real. But none of them were for the insane price that the seller is selling for. They do not cost $29.99. I do have a pair of these earphones because my brother dared me to buy it and I did. It only costed $1.3 USD after I bargained with the man. We always crack up when we see these earphones in my closet because it looks nowhere near real. My friends also cracked up that I actually brought it. lol!
Beware - Not even close to original Apple iPod equipment.......2006-03-23
Don't be fooled by the misleading logo and word "Apple" printed on the base of each earbud. These aren't made by or for Apple and have nowhere near the performance or sound quality of the earbuds that ship with Apple iPods. If you're okay with that, then these may well be fine for you.

Cool System, good sound.......2007-11-14
Powerful sound from a small system. Not supercompact, but fits on my desk with no problems. The CD ripping feature is nice, but some newer CDs are copyrighted and it won't rip them (Window's Media Player will rip to WMA and you can put that on the flash drive). I personally could have done without the cassette deck, who still uses those things? All in all, worth it for the sound and the flash drive functionalities.
It sounded good in the store........2007-01-22
Since nobody's written a review I will, but I only heard it in a store. It sounded much better than any other minisystem at Target. Decent bass, smooth mids, crisp treble. I think the fake surround-sound was helping the sound. It's a little harsh if you dip down so your ears are level with it, but a little above it it's better. It's worth trying I think.
I'm only giving it 4 stars since I haven't actually owned it.
