I have a friend that works at Harman currently and just recenly found that out. Thankfully she hooked me up with her employee discount. I opted to get that additional set of speakers to go up to 7.1 and I got the match black speaker stands which are really nice to look at. The setup of the system was fairly easy, I would recommend using some bananna clips to make your connections from the speakers to the amp. I do have to say that the wire that the speaker wire that comes with the system is pretty good so I don't think you'd really need to upgrade the wire. I love how the system comes with a microphone that you can place at the optimum spot in the room and the amp will calibrate the speakers for you. I didn't have all the wires I needed to get things going so I'd recommend having an optical wire on hand when you are hooking everything up. Once everything was hooked up all I have to say is wow! it sounds so awesome it shakes my condo. All my friends that have been over have been blown away with the sound. The DVD player is great too. I don't have my HDTV yet(in a few weeks), but I did notice a difference in picture from my PS2 DVD player to the H/K DVD player. The colors were brighter, and the picture was a little more clear. I can't wait to see what it will look like on my new TV. Its almost manditory that you have to play something with loud explosions as soon as you get this hooked up. I started it off with Gone in 60 Seconds, it was like watching the movie all over again. I also use the CP45 to play some play station and that sounds amazing as well. I'm glad I got this HTIB, I highly recommend it to anyone and the price Amazon has is pretty close to what I paid with the employee discount.
