This kit includes the powerful Xpress XM7 satellite radio receiver with its large, easy-to-read 5-line display screen, and a handy IR remote control that lets you run the XM7 without having to take your eyes off the road.
The Xpress XM7 XM satellite radio receiver is full of features, controlled with buttons that include display, search, menu, a rotary/select knob, power/IR eye, memory, preset/direct, jump, and 10 presets/numbers. The display button lets you choose between artist, song, title and data service info, while memory lets you store up to 20 song/title/artist combinations so you can look later at something that caught your interest. Not only does this unit provide plenty of music and radio stations with dynamic means of searching for desired content by artist, genre, or others, but it can provide you with a stock ticker that allows you to monitor up to 20 stocks, plus it offers information extras so you can follow things like the scores for your favorite sports teams.
The XM7 receiver features an internal wireless FM transmitter, which allows you to play XM satellite radio content through any audio device with an FM radio receiver without the need for (or hassle of) hardwire connections. Not only can you set your XM unit to automatically turn on and off when power comes on or goes off, but you can have it turn off via the sleep timer that can be set to 15, 30 or 45 minutes, or even 1, 2 or 3 hours. For added convenience, this system comes with an IR remote control that can operate most of the features of your XM unit with buttons that act the same as those on the receiver.
The XMCK-10A car kit includes a swivel bracket so you can mount your docking station at the most optimal usage angle, and a cigarette lighter 12-volt to 5-volt DC power adapter to provide power and even recharge your XM7 receiver. I put off buying this, as I was unsure of the reception I'd get, as I travel on mountain roads with large overhanging trees. Reception, though, is fine- but remember to use both antennas, the magnetic one, which goes on the roof of the vehicle, coupled (with the connector supplied)to the exterior car-radio antenna (that came with the vehicle). Easy to use controls. If you don't set up the account via the internet, try to get a live person if you do it over the telephone- the automated voice recognictions software had its gliches.
Overall- very pleased!

I bought on of these less than six months ago. The product was great while it worked. Easy install that anyone can do. The problem is that the display screen just stopped working. I expected get more than 6 months use out of this product. It's really too bad because I loved the idea of not doing a hard install and spending a ton of money. I would not recommend buying an Audiovox product ever again.

I love my xm radio. I think this vendor was waiting at the mailbox to send this to me. I couldnt believe have fast it got her. I have one of these for myself and perchased a diffrent kind for my husband. It was crazy how you had to hook it up. But this one was easy like mine and the connection is great. Thanks

Much faster than I expected.......2007-12-08
I'm very happy with the printer so far - it's actually exceeded my expectations. I bought it one week ago to use for occasional but very important printing - I'm in law school, and when I need something printed, I need it NOW. :-)
I've used many printers in the past and always had good experiences with HPs. I also currently own the HP Color LaserJet 2605dn Printer (Q7822A#ABA) which is a $400 color laser (which has been excellent). Finally, HP is an American company, so I was specifically looking for an inexpensive HP laser printer when I bought this. I realize that I could have gone with a Brother laser for around $100 or so, but I need absolute reliability - no compromises whatsoever.
The bottom line is that it met all my expectations - small, quiet and great B&W output for documents. I don't print much graphics, so I can't comment on that aspect. By the way, I'm using it with a new MacBook Pro, and there have been no problems.
The printer exceeded my expectation with respect to the speed. It seems to print very fast - nearly as fast as a larger office HP. Just my subjective impression - I haven't timed it with a stop watch.
The only possible negative is that I didn't find an instruction manual included. Not even on the CD-ROM. It may be that I overlooked it because I was in a rush to get going. But HP has an excellent support website where one can download drivers and manuals for all models, even very old ones. Further, the set up and install of the printer has been just like every other HP printer I've used.
