Earphones have always been a smaller, more portable alternative to traditional headphones, and JBL Reference 200 Series earphones are certainly that. But Reference 200 Series earphones are designed to perform more like their larger counterparts. Is it possible to get realistic, full-spectrum sound from virtually weightless earphones that can easily slip into a pocket? Would JBL has brought it up if the answer were no?

Just Not Worth The Money (even at a discount).......2007-12-14
lacking low-end in sound. Earbuds don't fit properly. I choose to pay more for earphones because I care about the sound quality... these did not meet my expectations. I know I could be paying much, much more. But if you're on a budget and decide to splurge a lil', don't waste your money on these.

Just got these headphones..... initially i was confused between these and the Creative EP 630 but bought these and i was not disappointed.. JBL is one of the best sound brands.!! the sound is great....bass amazing!...but u gotta make sure that they are properly inserted in ur ear canal otherwise u dont get the full bass.... they r not really noise canceling but definitely prevent a lot of external noise...The best thing i like about them is that they are really light .. u dont even feel dem in ur ears!! amazin... and the wire quality is pretty cool..i dont really agree wid ppl complainin abt d wire.. overall sound is great and soft.. which s obviously what makes JBL spcl..

You get a lot for 30 $. The sound is great and they have excellent isolation. One down side is that my ears are a weird shape so they don't fir PERFECTLY. Most of my friends who have tried them love their fit and sound.

If I were deaf in my left ear these might have been just the perfect earbuds, but, nope, that isn't the situation. Thus, the really nice carrying case, the choice of ear pads sizes, and the alternative jacks plugs were wasted on me. I returned the defective product and bought the Sennheiser CX300, which. though they have an odd wire configuration, at least work on both ears.

I have had a really hard time with ear bud earphones because I cannot get them to stay in my ears. I am an avid jogger, and it felt like I spent more time keeping the things in my ears than running. This is not the case with these. They stay in wonderfully and do not make the insides of your ears sweat like some do. I would recommend them! They come with several different sizes for the earpiece as well if one doesn't fit
