Print servers provide you with fast and convenient means to network multiple printers. The Intel NetportExpress PCLA 2461 print server is designed to provide efficient printer and file sharing. Connect your printers to a print server to share e-mail, Internet access, centralized data, backup, and storage that the entire office can employ. Small and lightweight, the PCLA 2461 is designed to fit easily into your office space. This three-port (two parallel, one serial) three-pack uses nine-pin D-sub male connectors on the serial port for use up to 57.6 Kbps.
It is suitable for most major operating systems, including Microsoft, Novell NetWare, Unix, and Apple Macintosh. Network support is provided through an RJ-45 connector for 10 Mbps Ethernet (10Base-T) and 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet (100Base-TX).

Really poor design; even worse customer support........2007-10-04
Purchased this in May. It broke in September. The angled-head is a flimsy plastic piece that easily snaps off. Contacted the manufacturer who told me they only warranty their products for 90 days...BUT if I wanted to buy another one, they'd sell it to me at a discount! Thanks, but I'd rather shove a coat hanger in there - it's at least worth what I paid for it!
