I have been using linksys phone for 2 months and it is great!!!!!!!!!!! I own 5 of them I use 3 in US and 2 in my home in Mexico. It is the best deal in town!!!!!
Nice phone works good with skype.......2007-11-15
The linksys cit200 work great and I have good comminication with incomming and outgooing calls using skype. I can walk everywhere in my home and never get a dropped call. The only thing that I find odd is when receiving and call or making a call, they phone will disable my internal sound card by muting all wave and mp3 playbe and turning down the volume in my sound card controller to zero. After using the cit200 I must (each time) open my soundcards controller software and uncheck the muted box for wave/mp3 and turn my sound volume back up. This gets very annoying after awhile. Other than that I have no problems with this phone.
Pretty good, but could be better.......2007-11-15
I actually bought this phone about two years ago and it has served me well. I am able to talk using this just like I would with a cordless phone, walking around the place and even when I am a pretty good distance from the base and there are a few walls between us. It sure was a huge step up from using Skype with headphones at the computer. And the price has dropped quite a bit since then too, I bought it for about $100.
Here are, in my opinion, the main advantages of it:
1) Works really well as a cordless phone, with better reception than some actual phones.
2) It's very easy to install, just plug in the USB cord after running the installation CD and it starts working.
3) No need to be a firewall/virus protection software expert to give it access, you just get a pop-up window from Skype asking for your permission to let the software interact with the Linksys driver and that's it, same with the virus software.
4) Small and easy to carry around in a purse or bag if you intend to use it with a portable computer.
Now, the disadvantages:
1) You can't use the computer speakers while this is plugged in (at least mine won't work -I've had it plugged into at least 3 different computers-, but computer sounds will come through the phone if I am talking to someone and play a song or anything like that). This doesn't bother me because I don't use the computer to listen to anything, but it could be an issue for some people. Although, I have to say, you can always unplug it and the plug it back in when you're done. It's not rocket science.
2) I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to use SkypeOut with this thing. And I swear I am not really stupid and have been using computers for about 15 years...
3) While this works well with my new desktop that runs Vista (my old computer ran XP and there were no problems there either), it really does not like it when I plug it in my Vista laptop. I used to think it was a compatibility issue with Vista and was expecting to have to buy a new phone when I got my new desktop, but it works fine with it.
4) I know there are some other small issues that bother me from time to time, but nothing so terrible that I can recall right now. So it's probably nothing to lose sleep over...
All in all, it's a great little phone. And you sure get your money's worth, since I've had it for a little over two years and it has never stopped working or given me any problems.

Instead of using a headseat, just pick up the phone like any normal person! Works great in hotels and and home. This is the second one I've purchased and both are doing exactly what they are supposed to do. Mine are set up to autoanswer so all I do is pick up the phone and talk. It can be set to use a button to answer, but then it's more like a cell phone. The wireless connection hub for the computer sits out of sight and behind a desk. The handset cradle rests easily anywhere as the footprint is very small. Sound quality is very good and being able to wander around the room on a Skype call makes a big difference in your mobility. The speaker phone works well and volume is more than sufficient for most normal sized rooms. It works well and so far (two years on the first one) it lasts a long time.
Easy to Install Great Clarity.......2007-10-17
We bought this to talk with our friends in the UK and it is very easy to use and install. Just follow the instructions on the CD and you are up and running in 5 minutes. If you have friends or family that live far away, this is the way to go. As long as they have Skype you can talk for free. This works just like a regular cordless phone, so all you have to do is sign into Skype and you can walk away from the computer and talk.

Garmin's eTrex GPS range are excellent products for hand-held use, but they are not easy to use without being held. They don't really lend themselves to being put on a surface in a viewable orientation.
The windshield mounting bracket solves all this. Like every other Garmin product, it is very well made and does the job. It provides a secure and rigid mount for the eTrex, and sticks firmly to a glass or plastic window. Easy to position and release.
My only reservation - it is a higher price than I would like.
