Cannot read 2GB or larger memory cards.......2007-12-14
I bought this printer and found out that it would not read my 2GB SD memory card that I use the most. It did read a 1GB SD card though. I contacted Lexmark technical support, and they confirmed that 2GB and larger memory cards will not work, and there is not a fix for the issue. Nothing in the documentation or on their website stated anything about a memory capacity limit. So I am returning the P450 since I need it to read my memory cards.

The picture quality is good and prints faster than my previous lexmark photo printer. Having the cd burner in the unit is great for clearing your cards, as well as sharing and backing up your photos. I also love the fact I do not have to be connected to a pc to print or save my photos. Great to take on vacation, especially if you take tons of photos like I do.
The con for me is the photos take time to dry so you can't just set it to print and forget it. The photos will stick to each other.

I received this printer 2 days after my initial order...Amazon is just GREAT!!! This printer is a fabulous deal for the money. So many features, you can print pictures via USB jump drive, CDROM drive, camera, memory card, from a cell phone with a Bluetooth adapter. The features are many. The quality of the prints are truly 35 mm quality. You won't find a better deal anywhere!!!!!!
Very nice for a single function printer.......2007-03-10
I bought this unit over a year ago, and it have been working great ever since. We have an amateur photographer in the family, who does hundreds of photos at a time, and this little unit handles a lot of the printing, quickly and efficiently.
The CD ROM door broke, but luckily snapped right back in place with a little coaxing.
We use this unit for 4 X 6 prints, only - so we wouldn't be reviewing any other sizes.
It was a very good investment for us.

When we received our new printer and we tried to print, every picture came out green. After a couple of days of troubleshooting, reading, and getting on the products web page we finally called the support center, which was in INDIA. Talk about very hard to understand. It was frustrating enough trying to figure out the printer situation, but then to get someone in a foreign country to try to walk you through his troubleshooting steps was not pleasant. He was very, very hard to understand. He finally did decide to send us a new ink cartridge and it was on my doorstep the very next day. Since then, the printer has been GREAT. Lexmark definately needs to pay the extra money and get an American Support Center!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Works well but is somewhat difficult to plug into the GPS slot. Seems like too tight a fit for this generic product.

Payed $16 for a cheap plastic adapter that broke within seconds of setup...the flange broke under minimum tension from the coiled wire. Now I've got a chunk of plastic jammed in the interface port. Dont be cheap, just fork over the $40 for the real thing...

The cig lighter adapter fits my eTrex perfectly, and supplies the required voltage. The coiled cord is plenty long, and the voltage indicator light is handy. The cost was about 1/3 that asked by Garmin. Why but anything else?
