Horrible, poor quality printer.......2007-10-22
I had constant problems with this printer, and then it died and was unrepairable after less than two years of extremely light home office use. I only changed the black ink cartridge once and never changed the color cartridges - that's how little I used it. Yet I had constant problems with jammed paper and streaky ink smudges, and printing on any size other than 8.5x11 was a gigantic hassle. Then one day I tried to take out the black ink cartridge (because it kept smudging) and couldn't get it back in. Turns out, there was a little wire sticking out that was, according to the repair person, part of the frame, which can't even be ordered as a replacement part (so it was unfixable at any cost). TOTAL waste of money! Stay far, far away from this printer (and maybe any HP, if this piece of junk is any indication).
poor quality printer that needs babysitting.......2006-05-31
My requirements for a color printer were: excellent quality of text, multi media support, custom paper sizes. This only does the last good (I'm able to print 3.5x5 postcards to 8.5x14 legal). Got this printer in Jan 06, and am very disappointed with it. (it's May 06 now). If you want to use cardstock paper (80C/216 g/m2), you need to feed one sheet at a time in the manual tray, otherwise it'll jam. The color registration is off. It leaves a small row of colored dots on the paper. HP has replaced all 4 ink carts. three times already since Jan. It stops for a few ink impressions, but then starts again. Now HP says that this printer does not support cardstock paper. This is one of the main reasons that I purchased it. Very disppointing. Don't waste your money.
Great printer. But what's with Amazon's Price.......2006-01-16
This is a $799 printer from HP and every other online reseller I can find. Yet Amazon is selling it for $975. What is going on with Amazon?
As for the printer, it is great for the high-end home office, or small work groups within companies. It is fast and prints beautiful business documents. I would not use it for photo printing and super posh brochures, but short those two uses, it is a fantastic business printer.
Finally, there is great value at $799.
One caveat, watch out for the cost of toner. It's going to run you about 70-80% of the original cost of the printer. (It's HP's new and pathetic business model. Terrible for the environment. Terrible for customers. But sadly gauging customers over toner is the only thing keeping HP afloat.)
In summary, this is a great printer, but do not buy from Amazon until the price falls to $799. And watch for the toner costs when that day comes. It may make sense just to buy a new printer. (Crazy, I know.)

Buyer Beware!.......2007-12-19
Do not buy this phone!!! The volume is not loud enough, you will constantly be trying to increase it it! There is a major static problem. The buttons are difficult to push, sort of a delayed response. Saving a phone number takes several steps. Getting to Caller ID is easy but once you are there it is difficult to scroll through (sensitivity issue of the round button) and it doesn't show the number, just the name of the caller while you are checking the log not when the call is coming through, then it shows name and number. The ring tones are limited and irritating! There is no speaker phone on the base. It is ver light weight and feels cheap and is short so it is difficult to balance on your shoulder. Do I really need to go on? If you buy this phone be prepaired to wait online at the post office to return it!

We bought the Philips dect phone with high expectations and it doesn't meet any of them! The range on the phone is minimal and it cuts out all the time. I thought that dect phones had a better range than the 1.2 Ghz phones but apparently not this one. The phone feels flimsy in your hand and the buttons cheap. We haven't figured out why the call-waiting doesn't beep when there is someone on the other line. Sometimes the phone pulses during the dial tone to let you know there is a voicemail, only to find out after dialing voicemail that there is no message. I don't recommend this phone at all.
TROUBLE!.......2007-07-29
This phone did not work as advertised. I did a lot of research on 6.0 DECT and what it was all about. What I have found in my use of the phone is that it has an interference problem. I have major static with both handsets and both are not even close to any other electronic appliance. This phone advertises High-Def voice clarity and does not deliver.
