I got the ps GP model of this printer after about one and a half months wait. The printer wasn't in distribution yet when I ordered it from an HP reseller. While waiting for it I got the B9180.
The b9180 is very easy to operate, almost a no brainer and makes really great prints. This one however, for anything but the most basic photo/art printing takes a little bit more thought, but the results are nothing short of spectacular in my opinion. Why get a 44" printer? Why not? They cost a small fortune, ok, a used car, but they are very cheap per square inch to operate. Just set your print jobs up properly so you don't waste paper. I have wanted a wide format printer ever since I heard about them.
I just printed off a couple prints that were from Cruse 300dpi scans of my paintings. They match the originals very, very closely. This one and the B9180"s prints are rated at well over 200 years by Wilhelm. Worth the wait? Yah sure you betcha!! NOW about that 22 MP Canon that I've read may be coming out this fall..........Hey, the 8.2 30d doesn't look just too bad at 24x36.
September Update:
A little update on this printer. Be very careful with the prints, on the fine art paper they will scratch, on the photo paper they can get marks on them if you happen to rub across them with a finger nail. They won't fade for a very long time though, according to Wilhelm.
The eye one display calibration works, sometimes. Mine doesn't print directly out of Photoshop 7 either. You can work around, but not quite what I'd hoped for after that nice print plug in for the B9180. The prints are nothing short of spectacular however.
Canon has the 1ds Mark III on the launching pad now. 21.1 MP. I think I'll wait until about March 08 for that one though. It should be reviewed and have some of the bugs out by then.

I had a 5.8 GHz phone previous to the purchase of this one and the volume would not go loud enough. I am not divulging national secrets over the phone so the security isn't an issue that is supposed to be gained with the 5.8. (I use my cell phone for those).
I am very pleased with this purchase. The caller ID and memory are the features I enjoy the most. The volume is much better. I haven't tested the range of the phone from it's base outside but it works well within the house anywhere I have taken it. It is worth the $20 that I paid for it.

it looks nice but the caller id is too something to read it right off. the phone also sounds hollow sometimes and does not automatically change channels so that does not happen. For the money it would be a good phone for the garage or the basement but not for everyday use.

After 5 weeks, the battery stopped holding a charge. The company tried to tell us the phone was three years old. It's not worth fussing with, but, man!, what service!

The display is just bad. You cannot see the numbers you type or the caller Id's number. Otherwise the phone works. It's cheap.
