I got it about a year ago. It works well but you can't fit many songs on it. You can record from the radio and reception is quite good. Mine also has a voice recorder. I want an iPod now, though. When you try to go from song to song too fast, it may freeze up, but just remove the battery and you won't loose anything. When the battery is nearly drained, it may do wierd things, like buzz. But I was still impressed with the battery life. If you could get, like, 3GB on this, it would be nice. Cute and portable, mine is sliver.

I was looking for an inexpensive caller id cordless phone and this had all of the basic features that I needed.
When I received it I was very pleased that it was so compact.
I like the voice enhancement feature a lot and it's clarity.
Most of all it is very easy to use and I think that it is a great little phone.

I bought this phone to replace my old Panasonic 900MHz cordless, and I'm disappointed with the sound quality. I've always preferred land lines to cell phones for long conversations, but the KX-TG2620B muddles up voices in much the same way that a cell does (though not quite as bad). I suspect the difference is that this is a digital cordless, whereas my old one was analog. I'm sure that digital voice technology has all kinds of wonderful benefits that I'm not aware of, but the end result is that it just doesn't sound as good.
Other nits:
-No volume setting: if you can't hear the person at the other end (maybe you're half-deaf like me) then you're out of luck.
-There's some slight interference now and then. Just some clicks, nothing major. It might be my wireless network or the microwave or something, but it never happened with my old 900MHz model.
-Keys are tiny. I guess that's just the trend in phones these days.
-The "Voice Enhancer" feature is a neat idea that helps sound quality a little bit, but it makes the other speaker sound like they have a lisp.
Battery life is fine, range is fine, and the phone is straightforward to use. All said, it's a decent package for the price, but I expected more given my past experience.
Just what I needed.......2007-08-23
I orginally purchased a low end Motorolla cordless phone for my home office and it simply died in less than a year. I was very pleased with the Panasonic phone I had purchased years ago for my kitchen, so I decided to look for that brand. I found this phone at just the right price and with the features I needed -- speakerphone, mute button, and voice mail indicator. I never opened the manual. The internal menus are very intuitive and entering contacts into the directory was very easy. Look up is easy too. The display is easy to read (much better than my old office phone). The sound quality is excellent, both in normal use and with the speakerphone. I have only one very minor gripe. The buttons are just a bit small for my fat fingers. Other than that, the phone is just what I needed.

I bought this phone to be used in my attic of a 3 story house. I can take it outside and talk on the phone with no interference. I highly recommend.
