The Casio SA-400 four-line system telephone with caller ID and speakerphone is designed especially for small business and home office use. Compatible with loop and ordinary home run wiring, this shared-resource phone offers powerful and unique features not found in typical non-key system units (KSU). Supporting up to four lines per phone, Casio's SA-400 system also is expandable up to 12 stations. This model is part of Casio's Executive Series, and can be mixed and matched with other series members to create customized office solutions.
Key among the SA-400's features are its digital speakerphone and robust caller ID. The speakerphone allows for convenient hands-free calling, and the unit's base comes with a built-in headset jack and hook switch (headset not included). Casio's SA-400 features type II call waiting/caller ID (a subscription to these services is required from your telephone service provider). Caller ID information is displayed for all calls, including those on call waiting. When transferring a call, the system forwards caller ID information. Caller ID also stores up to 64 of the most recent calls, which can be dialed at the touch of a button.
Additional features of the SA-400 include a 20-name/number autodial directory, all-station page, auto redial, hold with audible alert, mute, LED line status indicators, station-to-station and automatic intercom options, station ID display, do-not-disturb mode, privacy protection, and power failure protection. The SA-400's three-way conference capability is another great feature for businesses, allowing conferencing between two internal stations and an outside line, or between one internal station and two outside lines.
The SA-400 has a generous LCD panel, making information available at a glance. Station status information (busy lamp field) is displayed for every station linked to the system, along with date and time. Calls can be transferred to any station within the system. A data/fax port allows for easy connection of a PC, laptop, or fax.

I purchased 12 of these units for my office and have had constant trouble with them. The customer service help number is worthless and don't see any option except looking for another phone system. The phones intercoms don't work and the sound quality is poor due to too much background noise picked up through the mouthpiece. Placing the caller on hold and transferring to another phone sometimes locks the phone line. These phones might be fine as stand alone but don't buy for multiple phone setup which they were supposedly designed for.

I bought this phone 2 years ago and I would recommend you to look elsewhere.
The features are very slow to respond and I keep losing the date and time settings very frequently. Until now, I did not have options for other phones and I stuck to this.
Now, I will buy a 5.8GHz cordless expandable phone system. They have pretty good reviews.
