This small MP3 player is excellent for the double O SEVEN in us who love small highly functional gadgets. Small sleek and an all around beauty this MP3 player will surely accompany you with music, photos and the radio for your entertainment. Or take a glance at the screen just to check the time or set the alarm.
Although one of the pluses of this MP3 player is size it is also a disadvantage. It can be lost of overlooked in the blink of an eye. It's so small you can probably lose it in your pocket.
If you can handle the pressure of keeping an eye out for this device at all times or putting it in a place where you can find it again then I would recommend this little doohickey. However if your day is busy and when you come home you just want to kick back and fall out then this device isn't for you.
Too Expensive to be Disposable.......2007-12-06
The Good: Great design. Even smaller than the really small I imagined both in size and weight. Clix interface works great. Five stars for design.
The Bad: Battery life is more like 4-5 hours, even with energy-using options turned way down. Using any less energy than my settings would make the screen completely superfluous. Died after one month. Awaiting RMA return. One star for the all-critical ability to actually use it.
Conclusion: Nifty design, poor reliability or too expensive depending on how you look at it. If these cost around $5.00 each you could stock up on, say, a dozen at a time, keep a few of them charged at all times, and give them the toss as they died.

Although I buy lots of items from amazon.com, I never feel the need to write reviews. However, this product is so good and there are so few reviews for it that I feel I must add one.
Cons:
1. The screen-keys are too soft. You always press keys accidentally when its in your pocket.
2. The screen saver activates too quickly.
3. It is too small. I am afraid of losing my mp3 player, so I use bigger earphones just in case ;)
4. No case for the device is provided, so you must be careful with dirt + scratches.
These are minor issues, really.
Pros: Basically, in every other aspect, this device is the best. The navigation was so easy that it took literally seconds to figure everything out, without reading the manual. Even I was surprised with myself :) Sound quality is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Really worth the money.

The iRiver s10 sounds terrific even with my Etymotics! the screen is better than it appears in the pictures and the controls are very easy to use and intuitive. I've had it for about a month and can't imagine anything better.

It's smaller than Shuffle, has a great looking screen, tons of features(FM, record,picture viewer,EQ etc), great no-look navigation with D-pad, and 2Gig is plenty to exercise with. It's so light that the earphones cord weighs more than the player. Sound quality is excellent.

The Best Wall Mount for a Plasma or LCD TV.......2007-11-22
This wall mount system is extremely stong and comes with all of the hardware you could possibly need to mount. Comes with a template to make measuring the mounting holes for drilling easier. I mounted my 58" Pioneer plasma on one of these and it was easy and very strong, so no worries. The tilt is nice to have for final adjustment, or if you need to better access to the rear.

Best ever cordless landline phone.......2007-04-10
These are the best phones I have ever owned! I actually have TRU9485-4WR, it comes with a "submersible" handset as well, it is the same as TRU9485-2 plus the "submersible" handset and another handset (& chargers). As reviewed by others, it has the awesome ability of getting your messages at the handsets, and as some others left out, you actually have FULL answering machine control from all the handsets. Includes handy "call screening" option (read manual). Great sound, including the answering machine messages. Also mentioned by other reviewers: You can copy phone books (memory dialer) to other sets & base. But you can also copy just a single entry to other sets. A "copy to all" feature would have been nice, but it only takes a minute or less to copy to each one individually, and the intuitive menu system helps make the process easy.
Setup was quick and easy. I did read the manual, but not entirely, and I would not have to to learn most of the functions if I wanted just a simple basic setup without the phone book entries, and I would have been able to figure out how to program the date & time without the manual easily. I read it to understand some of the more complex settings, and how to open the phone book. You open the phone book by pressing the left 4-way button which is marked - by surface contour only, not colored - with an open book symbol. This may be the only thing you need to know from the manual! I liked all the default option selections that were active on the first powerup, except I changed the 1 minute max time per message to 4 - but I did change the two-digit answering machine security code.
One serious drawback on this system for some people might be it's answering machine limitations: 12 minutes maximum and either 1 (default) or 4 minutes per message limit. But I have not seen more than 15 minutes max total on a digital answering system & cordless handset package, so this is pretty much "on-par" with the rest at this date, I will not remove a star rating for this, but I would if it were 10 stars max.
Also, you probably don't want to wall-mount this system, the base must remain horizontal.
I had a hard time deciding on this purchase because I LOVE to use a headset a lot and want a "belt" clip on my handset, and many packages did not advertise the clip on the package. The 9400 series packages have the clips, but I only noticed it written on the bottom of the package, where I did not look the first time.
I replaced our AT&T 1256 system with this Uniden set. Our AT&T system made an annoying loud "beep" at irregular intervals on the other end, and we would miss just a syllable of the conversation at our end (we did not hear the beep). We did not notice until the warranty was expired. It took us years to finally afford to replace our cordless system. This Uniden set is sooo much better.
Pros:
Full answering machine control, with voice HELP features that tell you what to dial to do what, at all the handsets & call-ins (with code)!

Great sound volume.

Wireless 5.8 GHz does not interfere with 802.11 a, b, g, etc. wireless networks.

Great redial: Three-sets of last number dialed remain in memory for re-dial.

Speakerphone: Other reviewers say it works great - I haven't tryed it.

Intercom will operate without base, directly between handsets.
Instant record of conversations - but it uses message time and beeps at both ends (legally required).
Cons (all these are very minor, unless you need a lot of answering machine message time):
Only 12 minutes of answering machine message time, and only 1 or 4 minute per message limits possible.
Only two-digit answering machine security code.
Range might be a bit low for large houses, reported by other reviewers.
"Mute" label on the LCD ("softkey") is hard to read in a dark room, and the tiny print would be even harder to read for those with weak eyes, but eventually you remember where it is if you use it often.
Lighted keyboard & LCD could stay lit a bit longer.
Base needs button press before lights come on, but flashes LCD when new message.
Belt clips could be better.
*Some reviewers have complained about lack of a "1" prefix added to incoming numbers added to the phone book, but it is easy to insert a "1" there.

...glow in the dark buttons are a plus to dial by TV light at night
...get your answering machine message from any phone by the touch of a button
...and play these messages for others by passing the receiver to them....my boyfriend never checks
....very small light flashes on each phone extension when you have a voicemail message
...speaker phone from each handheld option...great for when companies put you on hold...leaves your handsfree while you wait
...walkie talkie option from each handheld is nice
...All this for a little over a hundred was worth it for me...and I got 2 more extensions ...at a 2 for one sale at Officemax for $30...they plug into any regular electrical outlet...so I have extensions in rooms I never had them in before...really nice to have one in the garage and basement....no more running for the phone and can call these intercom style ...to talk to boyfriend in garage while he's tinkering around...

This phone comes in shrink wrap packaging without the retail box, but still with the manual and wall mount. Panasonic makes good phones and this one is good. I got it because with so many other 2.4GHz phones and WiFi in my apartment building, my 2.4 phone was unusable. Not many people have 5.8 phones yet and so this phone's signal is clear and strong.
Good price point for a generally more expensive item.

I have was looking for cordless above 2.4GHz for my own use and I have found it on the Amazon. However it was refurbished, it was like a new one with no complaint till now. I will recomand to go for this one if you are looking for the good phone with basic features. It is worth going with Amazon as they do give nice support even after delivery.
