Did the product reviewer actually use this thing?? I doubt it. The battery (fully charged overnight) lasted only 2 hours. A bad deal on a 3 hour marathon training run! The little screen is unreadable. The unit could pick up no radio stations (in a metro area where there are many). Don't waste your time or money on this one.

Stable and very strong.......2007-11-06
I got this to mount a 32" Westinghouse LCD. It easily holds the TV and is extremely solid. I've never installed or had any other TV arm mount but many other that I've seen at brick-and-mortar stores just look and feel cheap. This one is great.
Perhaps I'm being too picky, but it would have been VERY nice if a TV mounting arm could include SOME sort of cable management so that you can easily hide or control the cables that run to this. My setup is such that I have all wires run into the wall through a grommet (a closet is directly behind the wall in my house). Because of this, I simply used cable ties to keep the cables tucked away. It's not that elegant but it works and unless you're trying to reposition the TV you're unlikely to see any cables sticking out.
One word of caution -- make sure you mount this DEAD center in a stud. It can be a little difficult without a very accurate stud finder or some exploratory drilling. Spackle and some touch-up paint is cheap -- a new TV isn't! :-)
Not impressed.......2007-09-03
If you want to mount your television near the ceiling you'd better get help. You have to have at least a couple of people hold the TV while trying to find the holes with the screws.
The screws didn't fit; either too long or too short even with the supplied spacers.
There is no doubt that it's strong and will support the heaviest of monitors.
In short, there are better solutions out there. I wouldn't purchase this model in the future.

I used this mount for my 32" LCD and it laughed at the load. This mount is definitely very sturdy and provides every possible angle for your TV. I know that it could have easily handled a much larger TV than mine without a hiccup.
Easy to Mount and Affordable.......2007-07-03
I have had this product about a month and used it to mount a Philips 32" TV. This is the first time I have ever mounted a TV so I was a little apprehensive. The actual mounting of the arm to the wall took about 15 minutes. The most difficult part was attaching the TV to the arm. It takes two people and the screws tended to get cross-threaded fairly easily, I blame the Philips TV more than the arm mount for this fact. Since installation the mount has been stable and I no longer worry about my inexperience resulting in the TV falling off the wall. One thing I learned is that the wall I mounted it on was thinner than the rest of the walls in my house so the lag bolts went right through the wall. Luckily only a closet was on the opposite side. The instructions are good and I believe that anyone with a little bit of home improvement saavy could handle this task.
I can watch TV from my BED or my GARDEN TUB!.......2007-07-01
I mounted mine on the wall near the bathroom door in my bedroom. I can actually stretch the arm out and turn the tv all the way around so that if faces the complete opposite direction - right into my bathroom! Now I can watch tv while I soak in the tub! I LOVE IT!
I did install this myself, but my tv is light weight (
<15 lbs). There is no way I could have installed it by myself if the tv were any heavier. The hardest part of the installation was attaching the tv to the unit, which is the last step. Also, the unit itself is heavy after a while, so an assistant would be helpful with this step too, but not absolutely necessary.

Easy to use.......2007-12-17
Very easy to use and understand. Never have used a car navigation system before and found it straight forward. Love that it has voice prompts and you can see how long it will take you to get from point A to B. Can create an itinerary, maps of Canada are good. Points of Interests are common and current. Very Handy little device! Recommend it.
