Amazon could update the picture with a new splitter.On close up it looks used and rusty.If you are using cable and need a four way splitter this is the one you need.You can buy cheaper but the picture quality on the lower channels will suffer.I know,been there,done that!For cable(digital,analog,HD) the SS4RF can't be beat!Mike M.

Great 2-Line Phone.......2007-02-15

I've loved Panasonic phones for years now. They are reliable, they have "fairly" intuitive interfaces (let's face it, no phone is truly intuitive), and they tend to last. This one is no exception. Panasonic made the handset smaller and lighter than their previous models, which I like - it fits fine even with large hands like I have. They also added a nice touch: the antenna has a light that flashes when the phone rings. My only complaint is they changed the way to add phone book entries. It's slightly harder than before, but the Quick Reference card shows how to do it.

A real nice phone if you can put up with the cheap silver look and some features. I put it up on the kitchen wall and after 1 day pulled it off.I couldn't stand looking at it. Esthetically sucks. It lacks a whole lot of features that I presently have on my Radio Shack 2 line cordless phone. EG a dial pad on the base with speaker phone, which most perople need. Do not buy a refurbished phone of this type thru an Amazon merchant. They will NOT take it back. Very unhappy with the way it is presented on their website. Let the buyer beware..

Main Charger Fails To Charge.......2007-12-20

I bought this same 2 phone system 2 years ago. Found after a few months that it failed to charge the hand set on the main phone. So I have to swap phones every so often to the remote phone's charger to keep them usable. At least they still work, for a cheap set, but V tech needs to fix the charging problem that is obviously a design or materials flaw.

In english: you get to use the Master handset for about 3 - 5 months before the master station fails to charge a handset.

Warranty or not, this model is junk.

V-Tech: MIL-217-E needs to be reviewed by your design and your manufacturing staff.

Please issue a recall.

We have had this phone for over 6 months now and it is still doing a great job. One of the phones is in our home office and the other is in our garage. Reception is great on both.

I've bought many VTech phones in the past and had great luck with them, so when I was looking for a dual handset, I specifically looked for a VTech. I bought this phone in September of 2005. When it started malfunctioning a few months later, I contacted VTech and they replaced it with a refurbished phone. When that phone started malfunctioning after a few months, I contacted VTech and they replaced it with a new phone. That phone started malfunctioning a few days ago. To sum up, I've had three sets malfunction in less than 15 months.

All three phones malfunctioned in the same manner. When the handset was in the main charging dock, the light would indicate that it was being charged, but it wasn't. When I remove the handset from the dock, the charging light stayed lit even though it wasn't charging anything. I think I paid $40 for this phone originally, and I don't recall how much I spent in shipping charges mailing the stupid things from Michigan to Texas twice.
