this antenna sucks. even if you hook up a amp. to it. I bought this antenna with a amp. Everytime I wanted to change the channel I had to move the antenna for 5 min.
Great Indoor HDTV Antenna.......2005-01-26
I purchased this antenna to pick up local off-air HDTV broadcasts. Previously, we had access to high definition broadcasts via DirecTV. However, there are a number of HDTV off-air broadcasts (most notably Fox and multiple PBS offerings) that are not available on DirecTV.
After confirming that our home was a mere 15 miles from the broadcast site of all the relevant stations (the web-site, http://www.antennaweb.org, has information on signal strength, etc.), I thought I would try an amplified indoor antenna. I should also note that we can actually see the broadcast antenna from our home.
The Samsung antenna was easily attached to my HDTV receiver, and then it took a mere 1-2 minutes for the receiver to recognize the various off-air digital stations. The picture looks great, so I am completely happy w/ the Samsung antenna. (In a test of signal strength, all the stations w/in 15 miles report 100% strength; the couple of stations a few miles further away come in at 93%).

If you're looking for a inexpensive GPS as we were for the RV, you have found it - easy to follow and has some nice features. 1 hour battery life outside of the vehicle is nice if you need to walk around a city.
Can't beat the price vs features when compared to the "big boys" of the GPS world. If you do a "google search " - you'll get lots of platitudes for the product -
