Cordless Phone is Useless.......2007-12-02
The phone seemed good when purchased, but after a short time of six months the cordless phone does not pick up volume well making the talker yell in order for the listener to hear a conversation.
Lots of features, but so many buttons!.......2007-11-29
It was a little smaller than it looks, and has so many buttons on the base. It seems like each function has its very own button. I guess i'll get used to it soon enough, but its a little confusing at first. The instruction manual seems pretty clear, and pretty compact. The table of contents is right on the cover.
Ringer volume choices are just HIGH, LOW, and OFF. Nothing in between.
Intercom/paging function is pretty neat. My kids love to "call" eachother. This will be great when I'm out in the garage and my wife is in the house. You can also screen your calls and mute the message before they even finish if you don't want to pick up. The LCD screen on the base is pretty big, has 3 lines, and you can adjust the contrast.
Number of rings can be set to 2, 4, or 6, plus "toll saver".
Base can be mounted on the wall, and feels very secure there with just two screws (83mm apart). Coiled phone cord stretches about 9 ft and hangs down about 1ft.
Hold, Mute, and Do Not Disturb buttons also light up. Speakerphone button is very easy to find, and also lights up.
Definately a great bargain for what I paid ($33 after tax and shipping). Reception on both the handset and base are fine in my small house. I've only tested the range to about 40-50 feet, and through one brick wall (20 feet). No complaints yet. I'm stoked, really.

I have had these phones for a little while now. No complaints. They work great. If you are looking for a phone that won't cut out on you while you are visiting neighbors next door then this is the one you need to get. 5.8 GHz does the job.

I've enjoyed this phone and would recommend it to others. The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 is because I'm skeptical about the life of the battery.

This product is great - easy to set up, easy to use. The main system goes into the phone jack and electric - the extensions only have to go into electric outlet. But be careful to leave the extensions on the bases at night - the battery life is short and the phone will beep with low battery warnings -- and you have to find the one that is beeping at 3:00 am!!!
Poor quality, design and features.......2007-06-16
I purchased this phone as a replacement for the Uniden 2.8 GHz phone. This phone lacks the integrated answering system from individual phones. The phone numbers stored doesn't reside centrally too, so instead of having one phone book it has several versions on individual phones. The color screen is nice, but it is useless and has some predefined screens. No option to upload personal photos. The keypads stick and so is the middle button that is used for navigation. I returned the phone and planning to buy a Uniden or Panasonic phone.
