Sights
The MediaMate supports MPEG-4/2/1, XVID, AVI, and MPEG4 video formats. You can easily record programs from TV, DVD players, or other video sources via the audio/video input and edit the recorded AVI file. You also can enjoy photo slide shows of your favorite JPEG or BMP images. When you're after a larger image, use the audio/video output to connect to a TV.
Sounds
The MediaMate supports MP3, WMA and OGG files, allowing you to enjoy your digital music collection anywhere. The MediaMate also supports Synchronous Lyric Display (LRC). If your MP3s have corresponding LRC format lyric files, the lyrics can be displayed in multiple lines while the music is being played. A built-in microphone is included for recording voice memos, lectures, etc. You also can record any number of audio sources via the A/V line-in into WAV files.

I bought this because I had a bit of a scratch in my PDA screen I wanted to repair. I closely followed the directions yet had no discernable result. I even repeated the process 3 times to make sure I was giving it a fair shot. Maybe it works better on CDs/DVDs, but I have no reason to think so.
