ALMOST EXCELLENT.......2007-01-18

I choose this phone because of the Talking ID feature. It's really "kool" BUT I wished it would announced the first name first and then last name of companies or people calling. I really id a company or a person by its first name, so I have to listen carefully till the end of the announcement to figure who is it. Make sure the base unit (which is the only "talking" one) is located where you can hear it. Another fall back is that it let you see the full information of who has called but it either adds a (1) to the number or don't show the area codes, making it impossible to do "one touch" calls. The phone is nice looking, very light and compact. I have the base phone down-stairs in the kitchen and the other phone in my work- room up-stairs, and so far (2 months) they are working just fine.
