Luddite in Pink: Nothing to Program.......2006-10-10
Sometimes even I hide from geekdom and having to learn another set of buttons and bells and whistles. Case in point, this wonderful traditional phone, which has exactly twelve buttons, no more, no less. Zero through 9, plus a star* and a pound#, and nary a thing to program as long as you can plug it in! It is my phone of choice for a nice "sit down" conversation: I never have to endure the "low battery beep" or the "out of range" or static or bad connection. It is heavy, solid and probably unbreakable. Furthermore, the unimaginative ring is nice and loud and will wake me from a sound sleep, something every parent needs whether they want it or not. And, of course, mine is the loveliest shade of pink.
