thats about all i can say about this product thats positive. its very hard to change the songs inside the box. sound sucks too. all in all its ok if you have nothing else.

I am a freaken ROCK STAR when I strap this baby to my kayak. There is not much that comes close to paddling Lake Chelan on a cloudy, windy day with the Scorpions or Disturbed blaring in your face. My Otter Boxes for my iPods are really neat, but the headphones are very uncomfortable. THIS IS A MUST HAVE!!

EGO 25906033 Waterproof Sound Case with Speakers for iPod
Yes, if you do not intend to use ear phones with your IPOD or plug in headphones, this case is super. However, if you want to use this to protect your IPOD and you do use headphones you will find yourself removing the IPOD each time. I suppose it would be difficult to make a waterproof case with access to the earphone jack. Other than that, this is a very handy item so that you can protect your IPOD and have speakers as well. Not sure it is worth the asking price though. Given that I do use headphones and am constantly putting the ipod in and taking it out for headphone use, I would have been better off getting a protective case with access, and having quite a bit more money in my pocket.

This product really is waterproof, no problem there at all. It comes with inserts to accomodate different size ipods or mp3 players. One down fall is that it doesn't play the music very loud. It is good if you are in your pool by yourself or with a friend and want to have the ipod player near you in the pool. It is not ideal for a party, it is not loud enough. Unique toy though!

These speakers are great for the beach, pool, boat, or just using at home. The sound is great and I didn't have any problems with my iPod getting wet or the click wheel not working when it was damp. I was very impressed and would highly recommend.

Nady PMC 3X Picks up engine ignition noise.......2007-11-22
I have a 2007 Yamaha Road Star motorcycle with a 1700cc engine. This intercom picked up the piston firings as a background noise. It worked beautifully otherwise. I called the company and they said the only solution was to change my spark plugs to platinum plugs. This might have worked but I sent the system back instead. They didn't assure me that this solution would definitly work. It seems to me they could have filtered background noise out of this system with little extra cost if they had wanted to do so. I thought if they don't care, I don't either.

The idea was terrific but when we put them in our helments they wouldn't stay secure and the microphones were pushed away by the wind. On the highway you could not hear or understand the other person. If you turned up the volume all heard was static and wind noise. It was not as good as it claimed. We returned the item. When we contacted the manufacturer they did not offer any explantion or information.

This product allows driver and passenger to communicate on a motorcycle. It is very user friendly and has an input for a cd player or whatever.

Considering we paid a third of what it would have cost us to purchase a "better headset", this was worth the price. The radio feature does not work well, you have to be very close to a tower to get reception and static is very loud when you use this feature. We bought the headset for the intercom use anyways and it did really well as long as you keep good fresh batteries in it. You may have to super glue the clip on, it does slip off easily.

The only good thing about the Nady PMC-3X was the velcro to attach the speakers to the helmet. The rest stinks! Poor sound, poor FM radio, cheap connections and no communication above 40 mph. But at least I know what not to buy again.
