The Sandisk Sansa Clip 1GB is a great value MP3 player. It has the same capacity as the iPod Shuffle at $35. It also has a screen, FM Tuner, voice recording and more. You can get the 2GB version for $15-40 more.

The new Sandisk Sansa Clip has the advantages of the iPod shuffle with some of the compatibility, feature, and price benefits of other MP3 players. The Clip is definitely a little bigger than the iPod shuffle, but not by much. It has a great feel and a nicer clip. It is also priced VERY well for the holidays. It fills the market for a starter MP3, workout unit, or gift.
The rechargable battery seems better than the Creative Zen Stone Plus and gives you a respectable 15 hours. The sound is nice. The earbuds are passable for beginners but most people will replace them. As for durability, only time will tell; so far it's holding up nicely.
The Zen Clip also has a larger 2GB option. For those needing more space, you will have to explore the CreativeZen, Sandisk Sansa or new iPod Nano. All of those units have higher price tags.

712t Keyless entry system review.......2007-11-28
works fine. I was NOT able to install the unit myself. I paid Curcuit City $50 to install the unit. Turned out that the $50 was only for the keyless entry installation. The other options were tucked away neatly within my dash. Otherwise, it works great. The distance for the remote to work is short, but I am ok with that. This unit most definately needs to be professionally installed.

Added this to "new" used car that had no Keyless Entry.
Instructions slanted HEAVILY toward professional installer, and somewhat confusing to cookbook mechanic like me.
There was *no* indication that both the 12v+ line -and- another (purple?) set of lines (with fuse!) needed to be hooked up to constant 12+v source.
However, it worked 1st time and every time.
Range wth stock "antenna" is maybe 30-40 feet.
If you add another few feet to the antenna, range will be increased sharply, just solder on some more wire.
An alarm siren can be added from "RatShack" for under $8 giving you an alarm system as well as keyless entry. I wired mine to light-flash output so I can hear longish beeps when it has locked or unlocked the car.
Standard hookup gives only *very* short beep.
PASSIVE LOCKING / PASSIVE ARMING is *not* a feature on this system, despite what manual says in various spots.
Also Note that it has 2 extra output channels can control other things - all you need is a realy for each as they are negative (ground) output.

My wife has a 2001 honda civic, and it had everything but keyless entry and remote trunk pop. I did not want remote start, so this worked great for me. The model I got was the valet 712T. I had this installed professionally for a good price, and it works fantastic. It features a panic alarm, lock/unlock, and I got the optional servo to pop the trunk using the auxillary input button. Before my wife had lever pop trunk, now she can do it while her hands are full after shopping. I think you will like this as much as she does.
