The wall mount is a full-motion wall mount for large LCD and plasma TVs. It provides easy adjustment of viewing angle. Full motion allows smooth tilt, swivel and extend motion up to 10.4 inches from the wall. The solid heavy-gauge steel construction offers a sleek, high-tech look while providing strength and durability. Universal mounting pattern fits most 30inch to 55 inch LCD or plasma TV up to 165 lbs. Please check the back of your LCD to make sure if the mount fits your monitor or TV. Will This mount Fit my Plasma TV? First check the weight of your TV. It must be less than 165 lbs. Second, look at the back panel of your TV. If your TV has 4 holes or up to 8 holes on the back of the screen, measure the vertical and horizontal distance between the holes, as shown below. If the vertical distance is within 2.95 - 18.9 inch, horizontal distance within 28 inch, then this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount. Third, the width of your TV should be 30" or above. Otherwise the mount is too wide to hide behind your TV. We have a smaller tilt mount for 23" - 37" TV in our Amazon store. If you have a 42" or 50" Philips TV which VESA 800x400, this mount does not fit. It fits up to VESA 700 x 400. Please double check before you place order.
