I always wanted to get rid of my home phone line. I pay $35 a month for a residential line and the only time I use it is when my cellular phone is free nights and weekends! Also being on Cingular I can call 46,000,000 people now free. The only drawback is that modems, faxes, and security systems can not transmit over the cellular network at this time. So we got high-speed internet, a fax-by-internet account for $5, and a cellemetry (cellular connection) for our security system.
