The sound on this device is of good quality, but the speakers don't project as omni-directionally as they should. My main objection to this machine is that it doesn't do ANYTHING unless the iPod is docked in it--no radio, even.
But given that the comparable machines that do what this does are around $500, it is a good, but flawed, product.

I have it in my bedroom and it works great. the sound is much better than other ones I have bought and returned. The only down side is that you can't change the playlist or artist/album you are listening to with the remote control. But besides that I highly recommended it.

We purchased this for my neice who is off to college. After much research,not only on the internet, but listened to other systems at Radio Shack... we decided on the Kensington for the size & cost. Needless to say, my neice loved it...has great sound & with the small bedroom she will have...will fit very nicely. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable system with good sound quality.

After reading many reviews for different systems, I bought this and can tell you that it sounds great and it looks good. We wanted something for iPod and radio only (not clock radio or cds) and this is perfect. Plus, the iPod has alarm clock setting on it, so if you really wanted to use the system for that purpose, too, you could. Anyway, this is a hit with us.
