Tat But It Works.......2007-12-25
This is pure tat and is a little bit shabby to say the least. Badly made vinyl like stuff. And in red it does make me feel a little bit gay, which I'm not. However having just slagged it off I'll now make up the three stars. It works at protecting the Archos, which to be fair is it's primary function. The ever so camp colour was in my case deliberately chosen so I wouldn't lose the damn thing. I left a previous Creative unit on an airplane - lost partialy because the black case camoflaged it beautifully. This puppy is not going to be easily hidden. It also allows the Archos to stand up on a desk - not quite at the right angle to be fair but bearable. So all in all it's okay and does it's job. Just don't expect it to make you look cool. Or manly.

I did like this little case but it's got it's down sides. I was very careful to order the right size and style for my archos but it still doesn't seem to fit quite right. it took a bit of playing around with the leather to get it to fit right and probably about a week later it actually looks like it fits. another thing is that it doesn't have anywhere to keep the stylus. overall it's a cute little case but not any more functional than the one that already comes with it. it all depends on your preference

I have an Archos 504 and thought that the cases were "one model fits all", but they are not (my mistake). The 504/80 Gb is deeper than the 604 and the case is bursting and does not hold the Archos securely. Because it does not fit well, the Archos may fall out upon opening the case. Make sure you order the correct case for your Archos.
