It doesn't slip off at all, and the clip actually can come off if you use a flathead screwdriver (luckily, it doesn't come off easily, which I consider a plus--I wouldn't want it to break off).
Occasionally, I have a slight problem with the clickwheel cover making the ipod think I'm pressing the wrong buttons, but it's never been a real problem for me. The whole thing is easy to use, cheap, and works. No complaints.

I like this product. I like the texture and the non-slip material. Also, I like that it has a flat bottom, so I can use it with any dock. The screen tends to scratch, but that doesn't bother me, because I know it's protecting my iPod screen. Also, it does collect lint if you put it in your pocket or a bag. But that's no problem. I just wipe it off with a semi-wet clothe. So, I'm pleased so far.

It fits perfectly, I know it won't slip easily; it won't slide over any surface because of the material.
I would have given 4.5 stars, because I don't know how to take the grip off =/

Something to keep in mind...........2007-06-08
This is a decent set of shelfs and will hold a lot of DVDs, VHS tapes, etc., but you see in the instructions that it's recommended that you anchor it to the wall so it doesn't fall over. This isn't made clear in the ad or text on Amazon -- it recommends a screw into the wall and they supply a strap that you use. But if you can't put a screw into the wall or will have this somewhere where that's not a possibility, keep that in mind. You may be able to use it without anchoring it like that but it's worth knowing before you get one.
