This iPod sleeve is for the first and second generation iPods and features a 3mm neoprene exterior with vulcanized neoprene sides. There is a small stretchy pocket in the front for earphones and a rotating belt clip on the back. The case contains a plastic insert in both front and back that protects the iPod from impacts. The plastic inserts have the added benefit of making the iPod very easy to remove from the sleeve. The interior of the case is fully lined with plush fabric to avoid scratches. The case is slim and fits snugly around the iPod.

Superb DVD Machine!.......2007-04-30

I bought this TV in 2006 for $1000 plus $170 shipping. Nowadays, for about the same price it seems, you can get the high-def version of this same Panasonic. That's a good deal. But, at the time I needed (and still do) to save money. Back then, it would have been about $350 more to just buy the high-def version alone, and then (for me) at least an additional $50 a month for high-def cable - not to mention the converter box, plus $500 for a Blu-Ray disc player and another $500 for an HDDVD disc player, and then add the cost of the discs themselves as the titles I wanted (slowly) became availible in high definition. Not for me, thanks. Not this time around anyway. Just an EDTV to view an extensive DVD collection already on hand would make more sense. And a digital converter box when they become manditory.

Even so, I was concerned with getting the best picture quality for the money. I had seen EDTV displays before and knew first hand that the picture resolution on a 42" display was more than sufficient for me. But, I also knew that unless the color accuracy (including gray-scale tracking) and contrast performance were both up to par, my money would be wasted. After a ton of research, I found that this Panasonic responds fairly well to ISF calibration, and, has one of the best performing contrast ratios in the world - a definite plus. But, again, it's the COMBINATION of these 3 attributes - resolution, color and contrast - in equal measure, that can make or break a display. Any one area that's defecient and it's a no go. The Panny aquitted itself nicely on all counts.

When I bought it I was pleased to find no burned-out pixels. I still have not yet had this monitor ISF calibrated, but, I adjusted it by eye (with the remote-controlled high and low cut-off controls for red and blue - green is pre-set), with respect to primary colors and flesh tones. (If you decide to experiment for yourself, just remember to record your current settings - the default settings are all "zero"). The results now have me putting off professional calibration, maybe indefinitely. It is difficult for me to find fault with the color performance, so, I'm a happy camper for now. Greens are as varied as they can possibly be. Reds are very good and blues are too. Nor can I complain about the purples, oranges, yellows, browns...you get the idea...

The contrast performance was easier to deal with. It was a joy to finally have a display that was so easy to adjust between being too dark and losing shadow detail to being too gray - without having to make a poor compromise. A win/win situation.

For watching standard-definition DVD's, this is perhaps the ultimate experience (as a bonus, even the pixel count on this EDTV allows for a 5% sharper picture than with the high-def version, of the same screen size, for standard-def DVD's). It is a sharp, textured, colorful (without being an un-naturally colorful), perfectly contrasted, perfectly geometric, clear and grain-free picture that, with any good DVD transfer, gets out of the way and detracts not one whit from the suspension of disbelief. It's all that from the hard-wired component video connection, through a humble component wire. Considering the cost of going fully high def, at this point, I'm not only more than satisfied, I couldn't have imagined having it any better than this.

This thing is great, and is less than half the price of a bag that Sony was selling with my camcorder. Fits my DCR-SR300 perfectly with all its accessories. Save yourself a few bucks and go with Samsonite.

Large, tough. Only negative is that zipper closing is a bit awkward, and clasp closure isn't adequate. Two clasps would be better.

This bag is very sturdy and padded. The description is pretty scanty, but I took a chance and bought it. Glad I did. The bag holds my JVC GR-DVL805U mini DV camcorder, the strap, battery, AC adaptor cord, 4 tapes, the remote, and all connector cables. It's kind of a tight squeeze with all those accesories, but the bag is compact, comfortable, and easy to carry, with the camcorder still being protected. The bag also comes with a lifetime guarantee against defect. The only thing that could be improved is that it's awkward to get the camcorder in or out of the bag while carrying it with the strap over the shoulder; the zipper is hard to reach and goes all the way around the top. That's the only thing that could be improved, and could be considered a safety feature, because the camcorder certainly won't come out unexpectedly. The bag is also very durable and nice looking. I recommend it.
