Too Tight.......2007-07-22
This case is too tight and will not close around an 80GB iPod. Perhaps it will fit a 30. It looks nice and I like the stand and the extra-wide hole for a headphone jack. So if you have a 30, give it a go.

Sony's 1080p24, Dolby TrueHD, dts-HDMA Receiver..........2007-12-20
The Sony STR-DG2100 7.1 Channel Receiver allows 1080p 24hz (fps) pass through, so owners of Toshiba's 1080p24 HD DVD players can now enjoy 24fps and PS3's can use the "auto" selection (instead of "on" forced) and still get the same benefit of 24fps through a receiver. Also, nice for owners of Toshiba's HD DVD XA2 or A35 (and some Blu-ray players) is the inclusion of Dolby+, Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio for, IMO, a great improvement in sound with these formats (as opposed to having them decoded in their players). Of course, soon more Blu-ray and HD DVD players will allow these high performance features to be even more beneficial. In the meantime this new Sony receiver offers improvements in switching over, say, the STR-DG1000, like being able to easily listen to FM radio (or other audio source) while watching a movie or TV show and NOT causing the unit to try to switch HDMI video, which usually results in havoc. Also, if you just want FM/AM radio, this new receiver cycles through just those and excludes XM and Sirius (unless you want to add them, of course, as they are available), which results in less unnecessary cycling - nice touch. At a little over 30-lbs this receiver feels well constructed, but not obese. Finally, This receiver delivers a fully enveloping sweet and airy sound that benefits from it's rating of 100-watts per channel. Even so, it is fairly efficient requiring only about 350-watts power allowing it to run much cooler and is definitely more eco-conscience then most of the popular receivers currently offered. So, now I can leave it on more often and feel less guilty. I really love mine, nice job Sony!

A fine CD storage tower.......2007-07-20
This CD tower by Atlantic really does hold 60 CDs in their jewel cases. It is compact and it's certainly no eyesore. I use this rack to store CDs and I have been rather satisfied.
Another wonderful feature of this CD storage tower is that it requires no assembly. This comes in handy for persons like me who are "all thumbs." It can be stored just about anywhere, too--at 21 inches high this storage tower is compact while doing the job of storing your CDs in an orderly and presentable fashion.
The rack is constructed of black wire with "cherrywood" knobs. Caution: at this price you shouldn't expect real wood knobs. The "cherrywood" knobs look somewhat like fake wood or laminate. This is a minor disappointment, however.
My only complaint is that the CD jewel cases often slide to one side or the other as they rest in their slots in this storage tower. Unless you are rather careful the CDs eventually look a bit disorderly; but again this is a minor complaint and it may not bother you.
Overall, if you want an inexpensive CD storage rack this is the way to go. It is affordable, requires no assembly and lasts forever. Get one and use it in good health!

I love this Cd rack! I know there are others but this is one of the best choices.
Its made of steel with red,wooden little nobs at each corner.Its very sturdy and should last for ever.It is inclined to the back a little so it doesnt fall foreward if you fill up the top with CD's.
It holds 60 CD's perfect for a teenage boy like me who has lots of CD's
Cd's do wiggle a little in a slot but it doesnt really matter.Unless an earthquake heppens then ...thats another story.
In all this is a great choice its cheap sturdy and small anough to fit on top of your book shelf! I may post a pic later of where i put mine.
