Straight to the point:
-Speakers have any amazingly rediculously cheap price
-Good compact design
Be warned, however
-Sound quality-especially on bass- is abysmal
This style ipod and MP3 speaker has currently become really popular and is sold by tens of different manufacturers on Amazon alone.
Simply put, all these speakers are cheap: in price and quality
The main and greatest incentive to buy this speaker or any similar type is the incredibly low price which is infact incredibly low.
Before purchasing this, however, be warned that the sound quality is abysmal. The speaker cannot play bass sounds. Anything above halfmax volume will sound horrible. For a good example of how your music will sound through these speakers, play around with your media players equalizer by throwing the sliders all over the place.
The speaker does look cool with the huge metal center plate. The problem is, the soft spot around it, the diaphragm is almost non-existent. Thus, it is unable to play bass sounds.
These speakers are cheap, but they definately will not sound good. Especially on songs that feature strong or any bass. You won't want to listen to your music.

I was just looking for something small to provide background noise (not even tolerable music) that I could carry to the beach and not be concerned about destroying it. But, this thing didn't even meet my very low expectations. This thing is not work the cost even if the shipping is free. One of the speakers doesn't work at all. To get it to turn on, you have to wiggle the switch to just the right spot. The sound quality is awful.
The only positive thing is the size.
Stylish but lacks in quality.......2007-10-30
I decided to buy this based off the reviews that I read. When I recieved the package I was excited until I opened it up. The speakers are stylish looking, but lack quality in the plastic that they are made up. The foam around the speakers that allow movement is just really bad quality foam. When I plugged in my iPod and turned it on, the speakers blew in less than 10 min of using it.
I wasn't disappointed because it twas only ten bucks. However, my suggestion is not buy this. The speakers do not dock into the iPod but plug in through the headphone jack. On mine, it distorted if the sound on my iPod was turned up more then 3/4 way and if it was below it was too low to hear.
Instead, do yourself a favor and get either some Sonys that cost a little more or spend a lot more and get some good quality speakers.
Don't waste your time.......2007-09-28
They are small, fragile, sound tinny and the first time I tried to use batteries in it I thought I was going to burn the house down. They got so hot that I actually burned my finger removing them from the unit.
I sent a note quickly back to the company about it and did not receive any follow up. Very poor experience.

So you bought some fold up Ipod speakers for $8. If you complain about the sound than you should probably wear a helmet and have someone make purchases for you.
These little guys actually sound better than I expected...not $100 good, but definitely crisp for 8 bucks. I ended up buying another set for my mom; she's happy with them as well.
TIP: Leave the volume on your Ipod or MP3 player all the way and only adjust the volume on your speakers.

bought these because i've had great success with fuji's dvd-r & dvd+r media (the ones made in jp). however, these will not even be recognized in my nec 3520a or nec 3520aw drive. this was very suprising since its a fuji and i made sure i got the ones made in jp. oh well, live and learn.
Won't erase!.......2006-03-28
Stay away from these. I bought this spindle and the first two discs I used only worked for two times. After that, when I load them into my drive, they just stall the system. When I erase them, the system drive stalls and still says the disc is not blank. Very surprising but I am not the first person to write this for this spindle of Fuji discs.
