The On Stage II incorporates Apple's universal iPod dock adapter, which works with most docking versions of the iPod, including the iPod video 5G and 5.5G and the iPod nano 1G and 2G. Simply slide your iPod into the dock and you're set--no additional cords to connect or adapters to fuss with. As an added convenience, the On Stage II also offers an auxiliary input for connecting a variety of other portable audio devices, including the iPod shuffle, personal MP3 and CD players, desktop and laptop computers (all platforms), and satellite radio receivers. As long as your portable audio device has a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack connection, you can play the audio through your On Stage II speaker.
As a bonus, the On Stage II comes with a wireless remote control, giving you the freedom to enjoy your music from across the room or in another room--up to 50 feet away (including through walls). The system itself, meanwhile, includes easy-to-use touch controls for the volume and mute, and even remembers your last volume setting after it shuts down. International travellers beware!.......2007-12-09
Great sound, but the product ships with a 120V power adapter. Totally useless for an international traveller. Since every other adapter I own is 100-240V, I plugged it in on a foreign trip and it burned out. Of course no mention of this limitation in the owners manual--you have to read the fine print on the back of the adapter. Come on, JBL, wake up! Let's see if Amazon will replace it.

Nice Sound, Poorly constructed........2007-11-29
I have been through two of these speaker docks so far, and both have had something break. The first dock's remote control stopped working within 2 weeks of me buying it. I exchanged it for another one at the Apple Store, and it worked fine for 4 months. Then the dock stopped working properly, meaning when I attempted to use either of my iPods on the dock, the sound would be fuzzy unless the iPod was held in a certain position. Disappointing.

Muy buenas las cornetas para el Ipod, soporta todos los modelos de Ipod con una base intercambiable para cada uno, los botones para subir y bajar volumen son sensibles al tacto, y ademas el control remoto es muy util por si queires cambiar la cancion y no te quieres mover de tu puesto.
Aparte tiene una entrada de audio tipo audifono para conectar por ejemplo la salida de audio del computador o de otro MP3 portable.

This is not to be your main speaker. It is small and the sound is a bit screechy. But for small tasks -- like background music for falling asleep or having a cozy dinner -- it will do well. Main problem is the bass. Cannot possibly deliver good bass. But it is a very good system if your expectation matches its size.

This product was easy enough to put together and I'm pleased with the result. It did come with a hairline crack in one of the doors and when I contacted customer service they were extremely helpful and the promblem was resolved quickly. I would definitely recommend this site.
