The Sidewinder for iPod nano 3G is a clear plastic case that provides full armored protection. The case features a slide-out cord management arm (Patent Pending) that conveniently stows headphones, or slides in to create a slim-profile iPod carrying case. Marware's use of the Patented Multidapt® clip base provides several options to carry an iPod in the car, on a bike, to the gym (accessories sold separately), and a mini-clip that attaches to a belt, pocket or shoulder strap. The Sidewinder case provides easy access to all key iPod controls and includes protective film for the screen and Click Wheel, and a microfiber cleaning cloth.

Works great to do maintenance on all kinds of drives and to use drives as if they were connected normally. Doesn't work on floppy drives.

When I connected the deviced to my computer for the first time, the drive worked, and I was able to copy files from the drive to my PC. When I connected a second or third drive, I got an error stating the Mass USB Storage Device was not properly installed. I was never able to get the device to work since. Not even with the first drive.
In addition, the device is poorly made. The wires and connectors are fragile, and look like they were soldered by hand. All documentation is on a mini-cd... so if you do not have the ability to play/read mini-cds you won't be reading the documentation.
You get what you pay for.

I ordered 2 of these to test in our support environment. I have to say they are all I could hope for. The units natively hook to a standard 3.5 inch IDE hard drive. With a short ribbon cable attachment a 2.5 inch IDE drive can be attached. A power adapter with Hard Drive power adapter is also included and attached.
The drive works exactly as advertised. The units work without added drivers in Windows 2000 and XP. The units also seem to work fine in Windows 98 and Mac OS X. No setup was needed. The unit is fully USB 2.0 compatible but works in older 1.1 USB protocol units.
The price is right and I am very happy with these devices. I plan on ordering 6 more so that the units are available for all my techs to use.
