Good Idea for when u have room........2007-03-16
This product works ver well and dose what it is suppost to do. All one can ask for. Only problem is if u dont have room around your cig. lighter then there might be a problem. Not to movible and has limited space. I put it in my 4Runner and it works fine when I dont have to change tracks on a CD. It's kind of in the way but I like the product and it was a decent buy.
The first six hours were great!.......2006-06-17
When I purchased this item my main worry was that my ipod was going to slip off it while I drove (since my job envolves driving around on very bumpy surfaces all night) and although that was a mild problem, I put a rubber band around it and moved on. It was working great. It allowed me to listen to my own music while I worked. Then somewhere about six hours into working and listening, it just got really staticy. Even in places that it worked before it was now unlistenable. Even in my personal vehicle (which it worked fine on, on the way to work) now sounded horrible.
So like it says in the title, the first six hours of use of this product were wonderful, its the next six that were miserable and made me think that I just wasted fourty dollars on something that only worked for six hours.
I will let it sit for a while and try again tommorow at work, if it works then, I will take it all back, if not, then I stand by this being a waste of money, and I will return it.

Only 1 coaster per 100! Works with Sony DRU-810A.......2006-01-07
I have been using these discs for years, and have found a few things:
Advantages:
- The all white top makes it much nicer to write on: no annoying product information to have to write around.
- Has worked in my Sony DRU-530A and DRU-810A burners. (Even though Sony does not recognize them on their compatibility list.)
- During some burns, I have been able to push it beyond 4x. Not often, though.
Annoyances:
- SOME markers tend to blur/bleed out while writing on the top (white) surface. (i.e. the green Sharpie, but not the red. Weird.)
- I have noticed in my last 50-pack that I had three discs that had defective surfaces. One had a bubble near the outer edge that could not be written over, and the other two had very small blank/voided spots near the outer edge - it looked like the writing surface wasn't even there. They became coasters only because I had to write to the very edge; otherwise they would have been useful.
If you are buying these for the first time, you may want to try it out before buying a 50-pack. My first spindle was given to me by someone that couldn't use them in his burner. NOT ALL BLANK MEDIA WORKS IN ALL BURNERS! IF IT DOES BURN, IT IS NOT A GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK IN YOUR OTHER DVD PLAYERS! This goes for most blank media on the market.
I originally bought a 100-pack of Memorex DVD-R -- thinking it's a name-brand and I can't go wrong -- but not only did 50% of the discs fail to burn, but the ones that did burn correctly failed to play in most of my DVD Players. I have not experienced this with the Princo discs.
I HIGHLY recommend this to owners of Sony DVD burners. Owners of other burners... try it out.

These Devices Work Exactly As Advertised.......2007-11-24
I'm using three different sets of these to extend the capabilities of Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers as well as a wireless keyboard dongle and they work perfectly. I'm able to plug in wired controllers in other rooms and game on both platforms.
I have runs as long as 95 feet on two sets and the signal works fine. You're not going to get multi-Mbps speeds and you shouldn't expect it. But for perfectly good USB 1.1 needs they work great.
I've tried another more expensive brand and they don't work as well.
Not worth the $$$ if it don't work.......2007-02-28
Found it listed elsewhere cheaper but it doesn't matter if it doesn't work!
Works on a short 10 foot piece of cat-5 but tried on "2 different working CAT5 used on remoted serial connections, around 85 feet" but cannot get to work.
Oh well... Live and learn!!
