Vers comes through.......2007-11-11
My wife and I purchased this as a music player for our baby's room. When we first got it, as we imagined, it looked beautiful and for sometime, it worked well.
The problem (as best as I can describe it) started happening about a week after use. When we turn on the unit, the music will play but only for a while before going quiet - no sound. The time it takes to go quiet varies. Sometimes, it's very gradual, over several minutes it will just start getting quieter and quieter until we can't hear it anymore. Sometimes, it's almost instantaneous - we can hear one or two words of the song before it goes quiet. Once quiet (or effectively mute) the only way we can get it play music again or hear sound is to power off and power on the device to start it again. We would have to do this about 10-12 times before the until will play music at the desired volume for any amount of extended play and even then, the volume will very slowly decrease over time.
I've sent the above description to the manufacturers as per their instructions and I may be able to recommend the product depending on their actions so we'll see yet.
(Update)
Since posting this, I've contacted Vers directly. They have shipped a new unit with a return label. Upon receipt of the new unit, I will ship them back the defective unit. Hopefully, this solves my problem BUT nonetheless, I'm very happy with the customer service from Vers. I have no problems recommending their product now.

It's been about 2 weeks now that we've received our new Vers 2x direct from the manufacturer and so far so good. One thing that is for sure, their customer support is the best I've ever received for any product. Return shipping of the defective unit was covered and I'm in Canada! They have identified the issue and indicated it as a known defect but all new units no longer have this problem. It was an issue on older units and only ~5% of them had this problem...so if after a week or so of use, you don't have the sound fade issue, you should be good to go. As indicated, this product (and product support) deserves 5 stars.
Nice Addition to our Home.......2007-10-25
What a nice compliment the Vers speakers make to our home. The Cherry wood is gorgeous and matches so nice with the rest of our home. I was excited to find that the Cherry wood comes from trees that are being replenished! Super cool! Just a great set of speakers! Really nice sound and easy to set up. A Great Buy! Thanks Vers!
Beautiful - sound and design.......2007-10-19
This is a great product! Much better than the Bose SoundDock for less than half the price! The entire design is very well considered; from initial opening of the box (nice little surprise - thank you!), to a 2 minute setup, to really rich sound with surprising volume for such a small speaker. And the base is really impressive (too much for me actually; I had to tune it down through my iPod).

Goodbye Stereo Components.......2007-10-18
I was just looking for an excuse to get rid of my stereo components. I found the Vers speakers and tossed the old stereo away.
Gorgeous cherry finish- it looks like it was carved out a solid piece of cherry. It matches the furniture and woodwork in my home and it looks like it belongs out in the open like a piece of art.
The sound is great - it easily fills the room with rich sound and was so simple to set up. 30 seconds maybe!

I purchased this card to use with my recently acquired 5 MP Panasonic camera. I've had it now for several weeks and used it a number of times with no problems whatsoever. This storage device is super fast in processing and downloading info when compared to my other standard sd card. It is really as good as purported and worth the buy.
