Creates noise in Playback.......2007-12-25
I received the TuneFlex Aux (Griffen 9557-5GTFAUX) as a Christmas present to go with my iPod Touch. I like the product design, as it held the iPod well and seemed nicely designed. Unfortunately, using the TuneFlex introduced low-end background noise to my playback that is not present when I connect the iPod directly to the Aux jack in my Saab 9-3. Without the TuneFlex, the sound is crystal clear. With the TuneFlex, it is awful. I also checked out the sound with just a power adapter to the iPod, which was also fine. I think I've isolated the TuneFlex as the cause, and it's going back.

This product works well for me and does what it says it will, in the short time I've owned it. I may have to come back and adjust my review if it sags over time, as some people seem to experience, but it charges my iphone, and the sound out works quite nicely for me. Mainly I'm just getting this review up so that people with an iphone can know that this product will work with it. You get the pop-up that says 'this product is not designed for the iphone', and asks if you want to select airplane mode, but I just tell it no, and it seems to work fine. Got an incoming call, and the music fades out and the phone rings. (though there is some gsm buzz, not that that mattered to me) It held the phone fine driving up and down my bumpy driveway, so I think it would be great for highway use especially. I may yet put some more padding in the cradle, just to hold the phone a little more snugly.

Easy to install and works great with the cassette adapter. The amp. boost feature and level sound could not work better. The one small problem is the 30 GB ipod does not fit tight and on bumpy roads causes the sound to go in and out.

There are only 2 of these things in the market....well, the time I bought it there were only 2. This one and the Ten Technology one. This product is excellent!!!!! 2 things though 1) The switch from high output to low output is basically useless. 2) The rubber thingie that keeps the cradle from moving gets weak in time. But then again, I would really recommend this product!!! I'm getting another one if something happens to this one!

Quality Surround Sound.......2007-11-19
I have used this system for some 6 months and have found it to be an excellent system. The base is solid and tight. My Onkyo 7.1 receiver in 5.1 surround does a fantastic job of providing a surround experience that is far superior to many of the theater-in-a-box systems. I am considering addint two additional RM101 speakers to give this system it's full 7.1 capability. You won't be dissatisfied with the sound quality and the price is reasonable.

Wow! If anyone takes the time to give these speakers a try in their home, I don't think you'll be returning them. I had Bose speakers and gave these a try to streamline the look in my livingroom, couple that with small children and buying smaller speakers were a no brainer. I hooked these babies up to an Onkyo SR-705 7.1 receiver and all I could say was wow! The speakers are solid which many people notice once you take them out of the box, no plastic! The sub is huge and delivers pounding bass. You'll want to figure out a place for this before you make your purchase. It's only been a week so giving you a detailed description and being the first to review this product will have to wait a while. So far so good though.

Stay away from this one!!.......2007-11-24
Drive didn't last a day!! It is very unreliable, the data gets lost. This drive even caused my computer to lock up. The computer was trying to get data from this drive and would wait forever as the drive would go into an endless seek cycle trying to retrieve the data. The files are apparently there, but the drive can't read them. Stay away from this one!!
I bought an Iomega drive that costs more, but has MUCH more positive reviews and is a major brand. I guess you get what you pay for!!!
