Slim & sleek iPod protection.......2007-10-16
I bought these skins because they're exactly what I'm looking for: not too bulky so that a Griffin iTrip can fit on the bottom, not too dust-attracting like other silicone/rubber skins, and perfect for providing protection to the click wheel. Maybe I'm anal retentive, but I like my things to keep that brand-new look, and I'm very satisfied with these skins.
I decided upon these after trying them out at the Apple store to get a feel for how thick they actually were, if they'd fit my 160GB iPod classic, and to see the quality that I'd be getting (at the store, they retail for about $24). Like their title, the skins are pretty slim and my iPod can still fit into a docking station (as long as it is without the plastic adapters). They slip on and off pretty easily and do not attract everything and everything (i.e. pocket lint, food crumbs, etc.) like some of the silicone or rubber cases do. Though the 160GB iPods are very slightly thicker than the 60GB, these skins still fit pretty well. The click wheel protection works pretty good too; the buttons are just as sensitive with the skin on.
The only thing I would recommend is getting a screen cover, which these skins do not include. Basically, if you're looking for a cover that provides adequate protection, won't make you feel like you're carrying a brick in your pocket, and can accommodate an iTrip without having to take the case on and off, this is it.

I love this holder - no scratches on my expensive equipment - but I do have to agree that it is inconvenient that I cannot use the ipod dock with the either cover on. The cover comes off easily, however, so it's not a deal-breaker for me. Also, it's easy to clean, and stays dust-free, unlike one without a hard cover. Overall, a nice product! Oh - the built in stand/belt clip in the back is awesome, especially when watching video.

Dubious (and that IS the half of it).......2007-11-08
Five stars for the satellite speaker, which converts the Model 3 into a Model 2 (i.e. very credible, rich-sounding stereo system, rated as best compact system by Consumers Reports). However, the clock is simply a battery-operated, pedestrian time-keeper that beeps (certainly whomever you've selected as a bed partner deserves better). Last I checked, the speaker alone was fifty bucks. Pick it up and get a $10 small alarm clock (battery, wind-up, or electric) that at least offers more than a plain, uninteresting and insufficiently loud "beep" and doesn't sound off every 12 hours. (Even if you don't have a bed partner, I recommend the extra speaker. It can be kind of cool--even a transporting experience--finding yourself lying between a violin section and a cello section.)

Does the job and has great sound as an addition to the clock radio by Tivoli. The cherry cabinet matches the furniture nicely. The clock itself: not the best, probably, but it does what it should... keeps time well! The light does not bother me at all. It is dim enough.

As a college student, I'm always trying to have the latest tech gear. I have a new HDTV, an XBOX 360, and a surround sound system. The 360 is connected to the surround sound and HDTV, but the TV's sound needed a cable to connect it to the receiver. I looked at Best Buy and saw the "Monster" cables for around $60 and put the idea out of my mind. However, I came on here and found a couple cables. While I was in the checkout with another cable, I looked around a bit and found this one. It was only $2, so I took the plunge and bought it. It came in the mail and I set it up. It works just fine with the 5.1 Surround Sound system. Just plug it into the back of the TV and the digital coax plug in the receiver. It works great for me, and I'll bet it works just as well as the Monster one. If there's a cable cheaper than this, feel free to get it. If you feel like getting a more expensive one, get it. I can't stop you, but I would just go for the best deal. Either the cable works or it doesn't - there's no inbetween. This one works fine.

I needed a longer coaxial cable and after checking out the local Circuit City and Best Buy I decided I just wasn't willing to pay $30 for it. After looking at Amazon I found this product and decided to give it a try. I am always somewhat hesitant to purchase budget AV cords, but have no regrets about purchasing this one. I don't notice any difference in sound quality from the better cord I had been using previously. I'm told that with this type of signal there really is no reason to worry about cord quality, but I don't understand the technology behind it all. All I know is this cord works great, is of good quality, and is dirt cheap!

$3.00?!?! Are you kidding me? Buy it. A digital signal is a digital signal is a digital signal whether you get it through a ridiculous "Monster" cable or a cheap one like this. Don't waste your time looking at the expensive stuff.
Expensive cables matter if you are connecting analog signals, but have absolutely no benefit on a digital signal.
