AudioSource's AS6S 6-inch speakers go right into your walls to combine out-of-the-way convenience with the audio needs of your home or business. A two-way speaker that has a one-inch pivoting tweeter for those higher frequencies and a woofer for lower frequencies, the AS5C offers a frequency response range of 43 Hz to 24 kHz.
The speakers are designed to be moisture-resistant, with the woofers constructed of polypropylene and surrounded with Butyl rubber for durability. The baked enamel-coated grill is rust-proof and easy-to-paint, letting you adjust the speakers' appearance to your decor. The tweeters are treated with ferro fluid cooled voice coil for extended highs. A few weeks ago, a good friend and I started turning the lounge in our studio into a Surround Sound Sensation, complete with in wall speakers. we picked a few different in-wall speakers due the spacing of studs in the wall and access with wires and these worked out perfectly. We have two pair of these particular speakers. Easy hookup, easy mounting with rotating mounts that pull the speakers up snug to the drywall. They are paintable, one pair is sitting in the drop ceiling and looks great. Perfect for those who are putting together a home theatre without all the wires and boxy speakers that some surround systems have.

These speakers were used as the front channel for a theater system. They provided clear and well detailed sound. These will hold a good amount of clean power as well. I recommend these and the 6 1/2 recessed ceiling speakers.
Great sound, difficulty securing to wall.......2007-03-30
For the price, the speakers sound really nice - great dynamic range for the size, and the directional tweeter is a nice touch. I'm using them as rear speakers in a five-speaker + subwoofer home theater set. Here's the problem: They anchor to the drywall with screws in front that pull the "feet" in the back tightly in against the inside of the wall. On both speakers, I was only able to get 3 out of the 6 screws to turn. No amount of torque would get them to turn and I gave up for fear of snapping off the piece or stripping the screwhead.

I bought these speakers for surround speakers. I have been very happy with how they sound with my Polks S-4's. They have a soft dome tweeter like my Polks. I have actually gone ahead and bought another set for when I upgrade to 7.1 surround. I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better speaker in this price range. I have no regrets what-so-ever.

Work perfectly in my Sony DRU-810A DVD burner!.......2006-04-15
I have burned over 90 of these discs in my Sony DVD burner and have made only one coaster, which I think was from the program and not the media.
I have burned DVD video, compressed video, .mp3, .wma, and data discs with no problem and no errors. I burn all of my discs at the highest speed the disc can handle. With Imation it is usually 8x, but I think I have gotten a few to successfully burn faster than that.
The discs come from the cakebox clean and ready to burn. Why do I mention this? Some DVD media comes dirty, right off the spindle! Dust, hair, even smudges have been found on some media I have bought. BUT NOT on any Imation disc I have burned.
I highly recommend this media for your Sony DRU-810A. As for other DVD burners: BE SURE YOU CHECK WITH YOUR DVD BURNER FOR COMPATIBILTY WITH THIS BRAND OF DISC!! Not all brands of media work in all burners!

These cables are excelent. They reproduce bass, middle and highs very clearly and in a soft way. They sound very good and natural. I think the guys who had problems should had checked their equipments, room accoustic and speakers before review this product.
Good sounding cable, but cheaply made connectors.......2003-06-23
I've had this cable for about 6 months. It made an immediate difference to my system. It sounds clear, transparent, smooth. Also, I like the directional indicators on the cable which help in installation.
My only gripe is that the connectors are cheaply made. When one of the "grab" pins broke off, I realized the connector is not all metal construction (like you would expect for the price). The pin was made of plastic - quite a disappointment. I hoped for better at this price.

I bought these for my dvd player. They work wonderfully! The old analog cables that came with the dvd player looked alright but [didn't measure up}. These monster cables definately enhance the sound of my dvd movies, especially the dialogue. The old cables that I had made my movies sound a bit muffled. But the monster cables intensified the clarity from the dvd player to my reciever. For those of us who cannot afford 5 speaker digital surround sound, I would definately recommend these cables if you use regular 2 channel stereo for your movies or CDs.

My system always sounded great and used to use RadioShack's gold cable's. I got these cause they were here on amazon where I bought my new dvd player. These cables are a lot more hefty than anything i've ever seen. I didn't compare quality to any other cables so I don't know about sound quality but it does sound good. If you're like me you probably want to spend more time infront of the tv than behind it.
