JBL owners beware.......2007-12-05
Although a good idea, it will not work with the JBL "On Stage". The base of the Sendstation is too big to fit into the iPod docking area.

Able to use with case, but not too well. .......2007-11-19
Pros: for the most part, can dock ipod nano 2gen with case, though it's too fat and pushes the case halves apart to seat properly. This causes the extender to get pinched and stay with ipod when ipod removed from dock.
Cons: Waaaaay too expensive for what it is, though without competition on the market... it's the only way to go.
I had mine fall apart when I gently pulled on the housing to remove it from the white ipod cable. I had forgotten to press the sides of the oem white cable and the guts slipped right out of the plastic housing. This was my mistake, but I wasn't pulling that hard. Fortunately, I was able to bend the foil shilding back in place for the most part and put it back together. Glue would be a great idea.
All in all, it does the job, but just barely.
iPhone owners beware.......2007-07-23
This is a product to use older iPod stands and support iPods and iPhones to those stands. But this will not work with the iPhone stand that comes with the phone itself. I was hoping to use the stand converter so that I would not have to take the case off the iPhone and still have it take up minimal space on the desk. Wrong. This is an expensive pieces of plastic if it doesn't work. This is for older iPod stands IMO.

A surprise!.......2007-06-10
I don't normally use these quick connect plugs because, in the past, the cheap versions I've gotten from Radio Shack or Walmart seemed to cause too much signal loss and picture degradation. I did have a need to more easily connect and diconnect the coax cable on an outdoor TV and I purchased a couple of these. I was very pleasantly surprised that with these higher quality connectors I experienced no such picture degradation. Spend the extra bucks and get good connectors!

Cable broke my firewire connector.......2007-01-18
I have a sony Video camera. To get the video off of the camera I bought this firewore cable. It bent the pins on the connector on the video camera. I had to buy another VC to put the DV tapes in to get the video into my computer. I bought a different cable for that camera.
