Great sound from a small package........2007-11-04
I bought a Sonic Impact system from a local store about 2 years ago. Since then I have taken my iPod to work every day. This little package is big on sound and is huge on dependability. That's every single day for two years and still going strong. It folds up to go in my beach bag, or into my motorcycle saddle bags, or into my briefcase for work. It's not the most powerful system you'll ever see but it does sound great. Two years into it and the rechargable battery still lasts all day on a single charge.
This thing works great, your gonna love it.

I had used my daughter's Sonic Impact speaker system at the beach this summer and was favorably impressed. So much so, that I ordered one. It is easy to use, compact, has a place for storing the iPod. A charge on the battery lasts a long time and is easily recharged. The unit is in a zippered case which I prefer. It travels easily. My only regret is that I did not order the unit with the remote. Big Mistake!
I received a brand new unit in original box in three days by FedEx. There was no charge for shipping.
For an inexpensive, moderate sound quality speaker, try the Sonic Impact IF1 (or the one with a remote).

I'm now enjoying this ipod accessory. However, when I first received it, my 2nd gen nano wouldn't fit into any of the guides. Once contacted, the manufacturer (not the seller) shipped me the 'new' guide for nanos. Now, I'm up and running...I use it while ironing (away from my home stereo), in our motor home while camping, and even at my kitchen island while cooking.

These are awsome but its hard to get specs. They show the "sub" being the same size as the 2 tweeters. They are not. The tweeters are much taller. I wanted them to carry around with my lap top but when I got them they were way to big. I sent them back after I looked at them. VERY NICE THOUGH!!! I should have kept them & found a use for them. I purchased this card after going through several downloads of my 8mg card for my DC3400. This has been an excellent card that has given me no problems!
It's even taken a spill or two and it's still working without any glitches. If you need quality and durability with high quality downloads then this card is for you!
Not Worth the Price Premium.......2001-03-21
This card works fine, but here is the bitter truth.
The core of all the cards (known in technical terms as the "controller") are made by only a few DRAM manufacturers. Those handful of DRAM manufacturers then sell the "controllers" to the major flash card manufacturers (i.e. SanDisk, Kodak, Olympus, and Viking). The flash card manufacturers then simply throw some plastic casings on the controllers, slap on a label, and ship the cards. As long as the flash card manufacturer is reputable, has a good warranty, and has been around for over 5 years; you will be just fine.
What I am trying to get at? I simply want to make it clear that you should not buy a card based solely on the fact it is made by Kodak. Check the pricing against the other major manufacturers (i.e. SanDisk, Viking, etc.) and then make your decision.
