Not worth it.......2007-11-30
I purchased this item because I liked the idea of a single connector to play and charge my Zune at the same time. I was not overly concerned about the quality of the FM frequency transmission, since I am looking to hard-wire to an aux input in my car soon. Needless to say I am disappointed with the audio output on this device using the Zune connector. The only way to get reasonable audio output was to use a 3.5mm cable from the Zune headphone jack to the aux input on the DLO. Using the USB connector, you get tons of electronic interference from the activity of the Zune (button presses, etc) as well as background static. This is going back tomorrow and I will resume the wait for a proper Zune dock for my car.

There all kinds of noises if output from the line out. A work around is to use the earphone output to the line input of the unit....then no static and pulsing noise but the sound quality is between AM and FM. Not too bad...but you may save money to just use a casette tape input.

To cut to the chase with this one, do NOT buy it, by any means.
When I first bought it, I used it for all of 5 minutes before immediately going into a pissed off mood due to wasting $70. Every FM station you attempt will be filled with static. When you switch songs on your zune, you will hear the most annoying pulsing sound, that some say is the hard drive. Why can we hear the hard drive over the speakers? I have no idea. This pulsing sound also goes on when you are simply LOOKING through your library. I've had the sound go on for the entirety of songs.
Also, if you decide not to heed my warning, just know not to even attempt listening to your music with loud volume. The static will blow your ear drums. If you're driving on the highway, you either will have to close your windows to really hear your music (as if you even WANT to hear that garbage quality) or pop in a CD. I recommend the latter. This was a 100% waste of money as it honestly has absolutely zero value unless you have no cd player. I'd rather go burn 30 gigs worth of CDs than put up with this.
Hope that helps, hopefully it came with a manufacturers warranty or something. In case you read this while on LSD, I repeat once more, DO NOT PURCHASE.

Terrible sound quality.......2007-07-30
So I purchased this FM Transmitter shortly after purchasing my Zune because I wanted to be able to listen to my MP3 library in the car. A co-worker has the DLO FM Transmitter for another brand MP3 player (not the iPod), and the quality is pretty good. Not so with the Zune. You'll be lucky to get AM quality sound filled with static and internal noise from the Zune itself. You can hear the drive spinning as a song starts...
I returned it within a day and purchased the Zune brand car kit, and while it's not perfect either, at least it's almost always FM quality if not better.

I got one of these so I could listen to my Zune over the stereo in my Mustang. There was a lot of static and I had to turn the volume all the way up just to hear it. I returned it because I thought mine was defective, but it turns out it just is really bad for the big price. Acceptable, but lacking in some ways. No controls for the sub woofer so you better have a equalizer to balance them out, and then they are still deficient in treble. On the other hand, if you like your music quite warm sounding you may like these. I give them a three because they are cheap. If the price was higher the rating would be lower. My advice, spend a little more and get better sounding speakers.

Good for planned use.......2006-04-27
I bought the large cart with doors for use in an exercise room. This purchase was in lieu of buying a new flat panel tv for use when I'm on the exercise bike or treadmill. Assembly wasn't particularly difficult. In most projects, I find I've misunderstood something or the directions aren't all that clear. But I only had one issue here and it was pretty easy to redo. Product is sturdy. It isn't fine cabinetry, but it is wood rather than plastic or laminate. I think that if you're patient, don't expect Baker and wait to drink until after the project is completed, you'll be satisfied. Cursing during assembly is ok.

Although I love the look of this cart, I found that once it was assembled, it wasn't as sturdy as I'd hoped. With a 25" tv on it, the cart listed to one side a bit so it always looked off kilter. And the wheels that you attach by sliding into open slots at the bottom of each leg slide out as soon as you lift an end of the cart to move it past a door jamb or over a carpet edge. Several times, when moving the tv, I almost succeeded in letting it fall to the floor when one of the wheels slid out, and the cart abruptly tipped. Lovely to look at but dangeous to own.
Look Elsewhere.......2004-12-12
I purchased this TV cart and had to call Home Decorators because I couldn't assemble it. There were no instructions included. They said I could download the instructions from the web, so I did. There were no words, only tiny, badly drawn pictures. From what I could tell, it looked like the holes were drilled in the wrong place on the top shelf. I called customer service again and they sent me another shelf which had the same problem. I called customer service again and said "maybe I'm doing something wrong, is there someone who can explain the assembly to me?" The customer service person said she didn't want to ask any of the "warehouse guys" for help because they're sarcastic and make fun of her. I called the customer service supervisor to complain. The supervisor went ahead and asked someone in the warehouse to help me. He said to put the rest of the cart together and screw the troublesome shelf on last. I said "how is that going to make a difference? it isn't going to change the position of the holes" But I did what he said and of course, it didn't make a difference. So, I called customer service again. She said maybe it was a defective batch of carts sent to Home Decorators from the manufacturer in Taiwan.
My boyfriend used the power drill to screw the shelf onto the legs, he made new holes with the drill, so the cart got assembled but. It didn't come out all that great because the wood is cheap and (now) has too many holes in it so its wobbly. I decided it wasn't worth it to send it back at this point, I'm just going find another cart elsewhere that doesn't need assembly.
I will never buy from Home Decorators ever again. This was the most frustrating experience with mail-order furniture that I've ever had.
