If your iPod has rounded corners (like the one in the image on this page) it should fit without any trouble, but if the corners are squared off, it won't fit.

This was a very hard case for me to find locally (I tried at least 6 different stores), but I'm very happy I decided to order it online instead of settling for something else.
Simply put, this is the best hard plastic case for the 2nd gen nano I've found. It fits very securely and has a very solid feel. It protects everything except the hold switch on top and an opening the entire length of the bottom (for access to the headphone and dock ports). The openning on the bottom is actually a great feature because it allows you to dock the nano while still in it's case using the included dock adapter, and will also allow headphones with bigger or angled plugs to be used.
It also includes a removable belt clip that was much better than I anticipated. It fits securely around the edges of the case and has a spring loaded clip similar to that on the 2nd gen shuffle, but longer. The clip itself rotates 360 degrees, so you can clip the nano at any angle you wish. When the clip is removed the case is simply a perfect fit around the nano, smooth and clear on the back, with firm rubber to secure the edges, and thin rubber/plastic to protect the click wheel, all while maintaining the nano's sleek design.

Ever since I have been using personal audio players (even way back with tape decks) I have never been satisfied with a case. This is the first case that I am totally happy with. It makes the nano like a pager, but smaller. The case snaps, very tightly (be careful to line up the ipod before snaping closed because it takes some work to get off) around the ipod. Also, it can face up or down. I like it to face down because the headphone jack is upward, and dosen't get caught. The cotrol wheel is the only exposed area, and since it sits in a small "hole" is much easier to find the control you are looking for, especilly when running, driving, etc. This case really adds to the functionality of the nano. Much higher quality than expected.
