Can't push buttons while in the case.......2006-11-04
I had the same problem with this product as other reviewers: I couldn't push the buttons through the plastic screen. I ended up just cutting off the part of the screen over the controls, which wasn't very difficult, and now it works pretty well. I don't have any issues with the rubbery case emptying my pockets, but then I don't usually keep it in my pockets. I also don't find the velcro strap to be unstable: I just wrap it a little tighter and it works great for my runs. There aren't many armband cases for the zen micro on the market, so sure it would be great if there were a better one, but this one isn't bad and it's the best one I've found.

I bought this case to use when I work out. The controls are hard to access through the screen and it is difficult to get the zen micro into the case. It is also extremely difficult to get the case on to the arm-band attachment. Once you've accomplished that task, and eventually manage to fasten it around your arm, you will discover that it is extremely unstable and the micro bounces up and down alarmingly, looking like its about to fall off. It is secured on your arm only by velcro. The case is not particularly sturdy, and does not appear to be effective in protecting the zen micro from damage if you drop it. All in all, an extremely disappointing buy.

looks aren't everything........2005-10-09
I bought this for my zen micro since my previous one was getting scratched up--and later broken. It looks like a nifty little case and I absoloutly love the belt clip for bike rides, but it all goes downhill from there. If I ever put it in my pocket, then the ruberized sides cling to the lining of my pocket and I end up dumping anything that happens to be in there. Also, if you ever use the pause button, you will soon realize why I rated this product as I did. Due to the situation of the pause/play button, it is frustrating and sometimes impossible to pause the player without changing tracks or find yourself swimming thru menus. The entire case also just feels poorly made. the rubber siddings seem oversized and loose while at the same time, removing my player from the case also takes the battery cover off as well, though this is sometimes welcomed when i'm changing batteries. I returned this to the store and got the DLO jam jacket and wow. so much better and for usd$10 less too.
save your money and your patience...choose jam over action.

Great speakers by a great company.......2007-03-13
I've owned a pair of TP112's for nearly two years now and can't complain. The sound quality is excellent and hooking up and breaking down the system is very simple. I use these for home listening along with a pair of their bigger brother, TP212, and I'm still waiting for my roof to blow off. Even without matching the RMS these speakers kick out major sound. I'm soon going to purchase some amps and individually power each of these speakers to reach their full potential. I do agree, though, with the other review that the bass can be a bit much and the tweeter can give a little crack here and there, but it's not enough to really be a problem.
excellent product for the price.......2005-11-11
I felt compelled to review the MTX TP112 because it is
such a good product for the price. I'm pushing my pair
with a NAD 2200 amp bridged to produce 400 watts RMS and
1200 watts peak with 6 dB headroom. My pair of TP112 wired in series for 16 Ohm handles the power well. Of course, I can't turn the volume knob more than between 1/3 and 1/2 or the tweeters start to complain. Below that the sound is clean and bass is excellent, although a little boomy and falls off quick below 40 Hz. These are no Cerwin Vegas but they are good enough for DJ work. They need quality power to sound right. Build quality is excellent. Knocking on the cabinet doesn't produce any rattles. I opened mine up to take a look at the crossover and was surprised to find monster inductors, capacitors and resistors to handle power. Good job, MTX! I've played a few parties with these and besides needing more bass than the two combined twelves can dish out, I've had no problems. I've abused these things for the three months that I've had them and they haven't fallen apart. I plan on getting another pair to hook up to the NAD. A much better 8 Ohm load should really get the party started.
